The Vision of PeterĀ (continued)

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage below from the Acts of the Apostles (10:23b-33):

The next day Peter got up and went with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa went with him. On the following day he entered Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and, falling at his feet, paid him homage. Peter, however, raised him up, saying, “Get up. I myself am also a human being.” While he conversed with him, he went in and found many people gathered together and said to them, “You know that it is unlawful for a Jewish man to associate with, or visit, a Gentile, but God has shown me that I should not call any person profane or unclean. And that is why I came without objection when sent for. May I ask, then, why you summoned me?” Cornelius replied, “Four days ago at this hour, three o’clock in the afternoon, I was at prayer in my house when suddenly a man in dazzling robes stood before me and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your almsgiving remembered before God. Send therefore to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter. He is a guest in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.’ So I sent for you immediately, and you were kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to listen to all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”

We had a beautiful day yesterday and it was warm in the sunshine. We will have some nice days in the days to come. I am slowly getting better but my strength is slow in coming back. Please continue to pray that I will be in full health very soon.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

“I have mercy on you all, My dear brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living on the face of the earth. I know that you are weak and at times you fall into sin. If you confess your sins and are sorry for what you have done, I take them all away through My mercy.

Peter was called by Me one day to the home of a non-baptized Gentile. This man was humble in his actions and was always sorry for any of his sins. He was now ready to come and follow Me so that is why Peter was called. He was asked to instruct this man and his entire household about Me, the Lord and Savior, who was calling them to come and follow Me. Cornelius was happy to learn everything about Me and to know that I was the Son of God who gave His life to take away his sins and to open heaven for him. I was calling him to make a big step and become a Christian. All the members of his family and all his close friends were ready to accept Me and come to follow Me.

My dear friends, you have already made the step to be My followers. I tell you never look back but continue your walk up the mountain. I am the one you are to follow every day and one day you will be with Me in the Kingdom of God in heaven. I bless you all.”

The Vision of Peter

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage below from the Acts of the Apostles (10:9-23a):

The next day, while they were on their way and nearing the city, Peter went up to the roof terrace to pray at about noontime. He was hungry and wished to eat, and while they were making preparations he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something resembling a large sheet coming down, lowered to the ground by its four corners. In it were all the earth’s four-legged animals and reptiles and the birds of the sky. A voice said to him, “Get up, Peter. Slaughter and eat.” But Peter said, “Certainly not, sir. For never have I eaten anything profane and unclean.” The voice spoke to him again, a second time, “What God has made clean, you are not to call profane.” This happened three times, and then the object was taken up into the sky. While Peter was in doubt about the meaning of the vision he had seen, the men sent by Cornelius asked for Simon’s house and arrived at the entrance. They called out inquiring whether Simon, who is called Peter, was staying there. As Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “There are three men here looking for you. So get up, go downstairs, and accompany them without hesitation, because I have sent them.” Then Peter went down to the men and said, “I am the one you are looking for. What is the reason for your being here?” They answered, “Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, respected by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to summon you to his house and to hear what you have to say.” So he invited them in and showed them hospitality.

We had a beautiful day yesterday; it is cloudy this morning but it should be sunny later on. I still have the flu but I am slowly getting better.

(You will find below the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

“I fill you with My graces, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered throughout the countries of the world. I am Your Redeemer who calls you close to Me. Many have had visions and St. Peter too had visions. One day I showed something like a sheet coming down and in it he saw all kinds of animals and birds. I told him to slaughter and eat but at the beginning he refused. I told him that God has made everything clean and he can eat all kinds of meat. Through this vision I showed him that the Jewish inhibition to eat unclean meat does not exist anymore. Therefore, he can go and visit non-Jews and eat with them without any problem. So from that day My followers can eat pork and any other meat. It is all very good food for all of you. If anyone should tell you that as Christians you should not eat this or that, do not accept what they say because I tell you, you can eat any meat. There is nothing wrong with it. What is needed is that you have faith in Me and be people of prayer. Through prayer you become My friends. I love you.”

The Vision of Cornelius

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage below from the Acts of the Apostles (10:1-8):

Now in Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of the Cohort called the Italica, devout and God-fearing along with his whole household, who used to give alms generously to the Jewish people and pray to God constantly. One afternoon about three o’clock, he saw plainly in a vision an angel of God come in to him and say to him, “Cornelius.” He looked intently at him and, seized with fear, said, “What is it, sir?” He said to him, “Your prayers and almsgiving have ascended as a memorial offering before God. Now send some men to Joppa and summon one Simon who is called Peter. He is staying with another Simon, a tanner, who has a house by the sea.” When the angel who spoke to him had left, he called two of his servants and a devout soldier from his staff, explained everything to them, and sent them to Joppa.

There are many people who have visions just like Cornelius. They are usually frightened at the beginning but the visitor from heaven usually tells them not to be afraid. Today I find that more and more people have visions. I know that many Muslims have visions from Jesus who calls them to follow Him and enter His Church. I know of one young man from Africa, a Muslim, who at the age of 19 years of age took his bicycle one day and went for a ride. While he was riding he heard his name called. He looked up in the sky and there was a face but he did not recognize that face. The next day he went to see a friend of his, a Catholic, and there was a priest at the house. While outside alone the Muslim heard his name called again and he looked up and the same face was there. He was told that he would be a priest like the one he just saw. The next day he went to see that priest and told him the story. The priest had various pictures and asked him to find the face he saw. When he saw the picture of Jesus, he said, this is the one. That young man became a Catholic, went to the seminary, and today he is a priest. How fantastic Jesus is!

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

“I bless you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in all the countries of the world. Although I have ascended into heaven, I am still working unceasingly in the world. You do not know how many people I visit in the course of a day. If I go and visit someone it is usually to call that person to follow Me along the right path. So many people are in darkness and on the wrong path and they do not know that what they are doing is wrong. I have visited many to give them the light. Like for Cornelius I send an angel or I come myself to make them aware that I am their Lord and Savior. Many do not know Me. Through this heavenly encounter the majority of the people are converted and remain united with Me until death. Yes, I want the salvation of all the people and I ask you to pray that they open their hearts to Me and be converted. Your prayers are very important to bring this about. I bless you all.”
