The Ministry of Reconciliation

Dear Friends,

A reading from St. Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians (2 Cor 5:11-21):

Therefore, since we know the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade others; but we are clearly apparent to God, and I hope we are also apparent to your consciousness. We are not commending ourselves to you again but giving you an opportunity to boast of us, so that you may have something to say to those who boast of external appearance rather than of the heart. For if we are out of our minds, it is for God; if we are rational, it is for you. For the love of Christ impels us, once we have come to the conviction that one died for all; therefore, all have died. He indeed died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.

Consequently, from now on we regard no one according to the flesh; even if we once knew Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him so no longer. So whoever is in Christ is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold new things have come. And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and given us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting their trespasses against them and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. So, we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who did not know sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

I wish to thank all those who wrote to me during the last month saying they would pray for me. Thank you for your prayers. Some have even sent me a donation to help me with the expenses I have and to them I say a big thank you too. Let us continue to pray that all that Our Blessed Mother asked for may be accomplished soon.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

Be reconcile to Our Heavenly Father and to Me, your Redeemer, I appeal especially to you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in every country of the world. I came into the world to show the way you should follow and to establish My Church and at the end I offered Myself in oblation to My Heavenly Father by dying on the cross and so I paid the price for all your sins. As the Son of God I had not sinned but I took upon Myself all your sins and atoned for them all in great suffering. I spilled My blood and that was what I had to do in order to offer to the Father this sacrifice of Myself. In the Old Testament, the Jewish people used animals to offer a sacrifice for their sins. The animal was killed and the blood was poured out. Indeed I am the Lamb of God who replaced the lamb at the Passover in Egypt when I died on the cross and the soldier pierced My heart and My blood poured out. Now what is needed for each one of you is that you be reconciled with the Father through Me. There is a sacrament of reconciliation, which every follower of mine should receive from the hands of the priests. In this way My Father and I will come and live in your hearts for we love you.”

Our Future Destiny

Our Future Destiny

Dear Friends,

A reading from St. Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians (2 Cor 5:1-10):

For we know that if our earthly dwelling, a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a dwelling not made with hands, eternal in heaven. For in this tent we groan, longing to be further clothed with our heavenly habitation, if indeed, when we have taken it off, we shall not be found naked. For while we are in this tent we groan and are weighed down, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a first installment.

So we are always courageous, although we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yet we are courageous, and we would rather leave the body and go home to the Lord. Therefore, we aspire to please him, whether we are at home or away. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive recompense, according to what he did in the body, whether good or evil.

I thank all those who have phoned me and written to me saying that they are praying for me and that Our Lord and Our Lady of Prince Edward Island bless me. Please continue to pray that what they want may be accomplished here on the Island.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

I want you with Me in heaven My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. Remain united to Me and one day you will be in eternal glory. While you are on earth you have your tent, your body, and it is more difficult to remain with Me. However, when you come to heaven, you will be free of your earthly body, which will not be a hindrance to you, any more, and you will put on your spiritual body. In your body on earth, you have to live by faith and not by sight but when you are in heaven you will be able to see Me, the Holy Trinity, Our Blessed Mother and all the angels and saints. Yes, there are sufferings you have to go through on earth. You know what I suffered when I was on earth. Do not be discourage but rely on Me to help you. Lift up your heart to Me every day and offer Me all your problems and difficulties and I will bring you rest. Forgive all the people who have hurt you in any way and love them all as I love you. I bless you all.”

Contrast with the Old Covenant

Contrast with the Old Covenant

Dear Friends,

A reading from St. Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians (2 Cor 3:7-18):

Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters of stone, was so glorious that the Israelites could not look intently at the face of Moses because of its glory that was going to fade, how much more will the ministry of the Spirit be glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation was glorious, the ministry of righteousness will abound much more in glory. Indeed, what was endowed with glory has come to have no glory in this respect because of the glory that surpasses it. For if what was going to fade was glorious, how much more will what endures be glorious.

Therefore, since we have such hope, we act very boldly and not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites could not look intently at the cessation of what was fading. Rather, their thoughts were rendered dull, for to this present day the same veil remains unlifted when they read the old covenant, because through Christ it is taken away. To this day, in fact, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts, but whenever a person turns to the Lord the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Somebody wrote lately that what is written in one message about the Annunciation cannot come from Our Blessed Mother because She gave March 25 as the day of the Annunciation and December 25 as the birth of Jesus. Our Lady will always follow the dates in the liturgy of the Church because She does not want to confuse people. Ask any Catholic this question: When was Jesus born? They will answer Christmas Day, December 25 and so the Incarnation was on March 25, 9 months before. Our Lady will not confuse people as some do.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

I bless you with peace My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered throughout the world. Before My coming the Israelites lived in the Old Covenant, which was instituted by Our Heavenly Father on Mount Sinai and it was Moses who established it among the Jews. They all gave their consent at the foot of Mount Sinai and promised to follow the laws given by Our Heavenly Father. I was the one who established the New Covenant in My Blood. All those who believe in Me now belong to the New Covenant. The main word of the New Covenant is LOVE. I offered Myself in oblation to the Father for your salvation. You are to accept this and believe in Me and offer yourself in love to Me. The New Covenant is the perfect covenant between your Lord and Savior and yourself. Uphold it and you will indeed be saved. I love you.
