The Greatest in the Kingdom

Dear friends,
A reading from St. Mark’s Gospel (
9:33-37):
They came to Capernaum and, once inside the house, Jesus began to ask them, “What were you arguing about on the way?” But the disciples remained silent. They had been discussing among themselves on the way who was the greatest. Then he sat down, called the Twelve, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all.” Taking a child he placed it in their midst, and putting his arms around it he said to them, “Whoever receives one child such as this in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but the One who sent me.”

I wish to emphasize today the importance of praying the rosary every day. I never miss my rosary and this is what Our Blessed Mother is asking each one of us who is a Christian and loves our dear Mother. In order to pray the rosary with much love, you need to have the heart of a child. You do not mind repeating prayers and during these prayers you look at Our Lord Jesus and His Mother. The Hail Mary is a beautiful prayer with the first part of this prayer taken from the Bible and the last part is our petition that She prays for us. There are also the mysteries of the rosary and we should contemplate these mysteries one by one. They have to do with the life of Jesus and the life of Our Blessed Mother. Pray the rosary with your whole heart.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:
“I call you My dear brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to remain always close to me. Do not be filled with pride and think that you are better than other people. Follow Me for I came into the world not to be served but to serve My brothers and sisters. The Apostles at times argued among themselves who was the greatest. It was pride that was behind this argument. I showed them a child who is always ready to listen to his parents and ready to do most times what he is told to do. There is no pride in these small children. You have to be ready to help all those in need and to serve them. Then you will be serving Me. I bless you all.”

The Healing of a Boy with a Demon

The Healing of a Boy with a Demon

Dear friends,
A reading from St. Mark’s Gospel (
9:14-26):
When Jesus and the three Apostles came to the disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and scribes arguing with them. Immediately on seeing him, the whole crowd was utterly amazed. They ran up to him and greeted him. He asked them, “What are you arguing about with them?” Someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I have brought to you my son possessed by a mute spirit. Wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive it out, but they were unable to do so.” He said to them in reply, “O faithless generation, how long will I be with you? How long will I endure you? Bring him to me.” They brought the boy to him. And when he saw him, the spirit immediately threw the boy into convulsions. And he fell to the ground, he began to roll around and foam at the mouth. Then he questioned his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” He replied, “Since childhood. It has often thrown him into fire and into water to kill him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” Jesus said to him, “If you can! Everything is possible to one who has faith.” Then the boy’s father cried out, “I do believe, help my unbelief!” Jesus, on seeing a crowd rapidly gathering, rebuked the unclean spirit and said to it, “Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” Shouting and throwing the boy into convulsions, it came out.

We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and the farmers were happy as they continued to dig out their potatoes. They will soon be finished.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
I embrace you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in the world. I call you all to believe in Me with all your heart. When I was on earth I chased away many, many evil spirits. I even chased away evil spirits that inhabited children as you read in the Gospel. I just pronounced these words, ‘I command you, come out of him,’ and the evil spirit left him and the boy was freed. Today there many people, who are possessed by evil spirits, because they have been involved in the occult and in New Age. If you are involved in such things you will be taken over by these spirits and you will have much trouble. Remain in union with Me and these spirits will never trouble you. I bless you all. ”

The Coming of Elijah

The Coming of Elijah

Dear friends,
A reading from the Gospel of St.
Mark (9:9-13
):
As Jesus and the Apostles were coming down from the mountain, he charged them not to relate what they had seen to anyone, except when the Son of Man had risen from the dead. So the three Apostles kept the matter to themselves, questioning what rising from the dead meant. They then asked him, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” He told them, “Elijah will indeed come first and restore all things, yet how is it written regarding the Son of Man that he must suffer greatly and be treated with contempt? But I tell you that Elijah has come and they did to him whatever they pleased, as it is written of him.”

I had a good number of visitors to Our Lady of Prince Edward Island’s chapel. There were some from Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. The week before some came all the way from British Columbia. I am home these days and I am always ready to receive you especially now before the snow starts.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I love you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters spread in every country of the world. I am never far from any of you. One of the great prophets of the Old Testament was the Prophet Elijah. He spoke a lot about my coming into the world and he called the Jewish people to believe in our Heavenly Father and to follow His commandments. It was told that Elijah would return just before My coming into the world. In fact he came but the people did not receive him and at the end he was martyred. His name is St. John the Baptist. He is the second Elijah. His story is written in the New Testament for he prepared the people for My coming. He called them to the Jordan River to receive the baptism of repentance and he is the one who baptized Me in that river. St. John the Baptist pointed Me out to the people at My baptism. He is a great saint. He is another great person who is there to help you believe that I am the Messiah, the Savior of the world. I bless you all. “
