The Third Prediction of the Passion

Dear friends,
A reading from St. Mark’s Gospel (10, 32 – 34):

They were on the way, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus went ahead of them. They were amazed, and those who followed were afraid. Taking the Twelve aside again, he began to tell them what was going to happen to him. “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death and hand him over to the Gentiles who will mock him, spit upon him, scourge him, and put him to death, but after three days he will rise.”

Yesterday, the Feast of All Saints, was a real summer day here in Prince Edward Island. It was sunny the whole day and the temperature moved close to 20 degrees Celsius (70 degrees F). People were saying the summer has come back again. I thanked the Lord for this beautiful day and I went for a long walk, which was good for my health. Again I thank all those who sent donations for the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island. When you have more money, please send some more because it costs a lot for the upkeep in the winter.

Below you will find the message of Our Savior who gave His life by dying on the cross to save us. He spoke these words to Father Melvin,
“I love you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the earth. While I was with My Apostles, I told them three times about My Passion and Death and My Resurrection from the dead would come three days later. They did not understand what I was telling them. I want you all to know that it was out of love for each one of you that I freely agreed to suffer horribly at the hands of these Jewish and Roman people. At the end they forced Me to carry My cross to Calvary where they nailed Me to the cross and I suffered terribly until My death. My Mother stood near My cross all the time that I was hanging there. She suffered together with Me for you all. We desire your salvation that all of you who are on earth today will one day be united with Me and My Mother for all eternity. Work hard My dear friends and one day you will be in glory with the Father, with Me His Son and with the Holy Spirit. I care for you all.”

How hard it is for a Rich Man to enter Heaven

How hard it is for a Rich Man to enter Heaven

Dear friends,
A reading from St. Mark’s Gospel (10:24-31):

Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!” The disciples were amazed at his words. So Jesus again said to them in reply, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” They were exceedingly astonished and said among themselves, “Then who can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God.”
Peter began to say to him, “We have given up everything and followed you.” Jesus said, “Amen, I say to you, there is no one who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for my sake and for the sake of the gospel who will not receive a hundred times more now in this present age: houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and eternal life in the age to come. But many that are first will be last, and the last will be first.”

Again I wish to thank all those who helped me out with donations. Again today I received a very nice donation. May the Lord bless you all and may He fill you with His peace, love and joy.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and King given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I call you to be humble My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live in every country of the world. It is written that I said these words, ‘How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the Kingdom of God.’ Very often the wealthy people are full of pride and they are very materialistic. They have no time for their Creator or their Savior. Their only thought is to make money and to enjoy this money. So they will look for pleasure everywhere and often they will do what is sinful such as adultery, drunkenness, hating people and treating people as if they were their slaves. The only way these rich people can be saved is to help the poor and to follow Me. They need to exercise their faith in Me and to pray regularly otherwise the evil one will take control of them and he will lead them along the slippery way to perdition. They cannot save themselves on their own; they need My help and My grace. I bless you all.”

The Rich Man

The Rich Man

Dear friends,
A reading from
 St. Mark’s Gospel (10:17-22):
As Jesus was setting out on a journey, a man ran up, knelt down before him, and asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus answered him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone. You know the commandments: You shall not kill; you shall not commit adultery; you shall not steal; you shall not bear false witness; you shall not defraud; honor your father and your mother.” He replied and said to him, “Teacher, all of these I have observed from my youth.” Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said to him, “You are lacking in one thing. Go, sell what you have, and give it to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” At that statement his face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions.

The big storm has hit land in New Jersey and there has been much destruction in all the states around including New York State, Connecticut, the District of Columbus and other places too. A good number of people died and many cities were flooded. Yes, the people in that area have suffered much from this storm. Here in Prince Edward Island it was mostly cloudy yesterday but we did not have any rain. It was windy but not too much. The Lord has protected us and for this I say “Thank you Lord for protecting us.”

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to follow Me. You know the story of the young man who came to ask Me what he should do to inherit eternal life. I told him that he should follow the Commandments of God. He answered that he had followed them all since his youth. It is then that I told him that he was lacking in one thing. So I told him to go and sell what he had and to give to the poor. Then he should come and follow Me. He refused to do what I had told him because he had many possessions. I want you all to remember that what is important for a Christian is to come and follow Me. This means that you will believe in Me with all your heart and soul; that you will pray regularly every day and on Sunday you will go and attend Holy Mass and receive the sacraments; that you will love all your brothers and sisters and forgive those who offend you. I must be first in your life. I love you all and I bless you.”
