The Blind Bartimaeus

Dear friends,
A reading from St. Mark’s Gospel (10:46-52):

They came to Jericho. And as he was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a sizable crowd, Bartimaeus, a blind man, the son of Timaeus, sat by the roadside begging. On hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, son of David, have pity on me.” And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he kept calling out all the more, “Son of David, have pity on me.” Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take courage; get up, he is calling you.” He threw aside his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus. Jesus said to him in reply, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied to him, “Master, I want to see.” Jesus told him, “Go your way; your faith has saved you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way.

Yesterday Sunday was a rainy day here in Prince Edward Island. It was very dark in the afternoon but today we should see the sun at times. Yes, the winter is approaching and soon we will see the snow. I know the Lord will take care of me and I will have enough heating oil to heat my house. Again I thank all those who have been so generous to help me pay debts although they are not yet all paid.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and great friend gave to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I send upon you many graces My brother Melvin and on all My brothers and sisters spread all over the surface of the earth. It is for all of you that I offered the sacrifice of My life on the cross to My Heavenly Father so that you may be saved. To show you that indeed I am the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, I performed many miracles, which only God can do. Take this blind man Bartimaeus who came to me asking Me to give him sight. When I saw his faith, I healed him immediately. Today many of My followers have power to heal in My name. You, My brother Melvin, have been given this power by Me and many have been healed through your prayers. In fact I am the one healing the people but through the prayers of those appointed. Go to these people and come to them with faith and you will be healed. I love you all.”

The Destruction of the Temple Foretold

The Destruction of the Temple Foretold

Dear friends,
A reading from St. Mark’s Gospel (13:1-8):

As he was making his way out of the temple area one of his disciples said to him, “Look, teacher, what stones and what buildings!” Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be one stone left upon another that will not be thrown down.”
As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple area, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately, “Tell us, when will this happen, and what sign will there be when all these things are about to come to an end?” Jesus began to say to them, “See that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name saying, ‘I am he,’ and they will deceive many. When you hear of wars and reports of wars do not be alarmed; such things must happen, but it will not yet be the end. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes from place to place and there will be famines. These are the beginnings of the labor pains.”

I celebrated Holy Mass yesterday in honor of Our Blessed Mother, as Saturday is Her day. I also prayed for all those who are written in the Book of Remembrance. Almost every day I receive letters with names to be entered into the book. I offer three Masses a week for a whole year for those who are written in the book. It only costs $15.00 to enter one person in the Book of Remembrance for a full year.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in the world. All those who follow Me are blessed and I am protecting them. You know what happened to Jerusalem including the Temple and the whole city. Because the people did not receive Me as their Savior, the city and the Temple were destroyed and many people were killed. This happened in the year 70. Now the past week you saw what happened to New York City and some other smaller towns. It was foretold some years ago and Father Melvin sent the message out that New York City would be one of the cities that would be hard hit in the future. Many parts of the city would be flooded and houses destroyed and people killed. All this happened during the past week. Why did this happen? I had called the people in this city and in other cities to return to follow Me. These big cities are full of sin and My Father cannot endure these horrible crimes against Him. Now His arm fell on the city. Come, My people, get up return to following Me, and you will find peace in the future. I want you all close to Me. I bless you.”

The Canticle of Mary

The Canticle of Mary

Dear friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (1:46-55):

          And Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my savior.
For he has looked upon his handmaid’s lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed.
The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him.
He has shown might with his arm, dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart.
He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones but lifted up the lowly.
The hungry he has filled with good things; the rich he has sent away empty.
He has helped Israel his servant, remembering his mercy,
according to his promise to our fathers, to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”

I prayed yesterday for the souls in Purgatory that the Lord will have mercy on them and that soon they will enter heaven.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters living in the world. I love you all and I pray for you every day. When I went to visit My cousin Elizabeth great things happened. It was on the first day that I sang My Canticle especially My love for God as I was filled with the wonderful grace of joy. Remember God is your Creator and He takes care of you all the time. He made each one of you as wonderful human beings who can come to know Him and to serve Him. If you sin and are sorry for what you have done, God will show you His mercy and take away all your sins. However, He wants us all to be humble and know that you need His help every day. Without the help of the Father you cannot advance but with His grace you will keep going forward daily. I am your Mother who prays for you and desires that you love God with all your heart and follow Him every day. I love you all.”
