Parable of the Tenants

Dear friends,
A reading from St. Mark’s Gospel (12:1-12):

[Jesus] began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a wine press, and built a tower. Then he leased it to tenant farmers and left on a journey. At the proper time he sent a servant to the tenants to obtain from them some of the produce of the vineyard. But they seized him, beat him, and sent him away empty-handed. Again he sent them another servant. And that one they beat over the head and treated shamefully. He sent yet another whom they killed. So, too, many others; some they beat, others they killed. He had one other to send, a beloved son. He sent him to them last of all, thinking, ‘They will respect my son.’ But those tenants said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ So they seized him and killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard. What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come, put the tenants to death, and give the vineyard to others. Have you not read this scripture passage:
‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; by the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes’?”
They were seeking to arrest him, but they feared the crowd, for they realized that he had addressed the parable to them. So they left him and went away.

Many people phone me every day asking for prayers. Some need prayers because they are sick while others ask for prayers for their families. I pray with all of them asking Jesus to heal them or to bring the families together.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Friend given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to be good listeners to what I have to say to you. First of all My words are in the Bible especially in the Gospels and these words are addressed to each one of you. So you should read the Bible every day. The parable of the tenants is really the history of the Jewish people. The vineyard is their country given to them by God the Father. At times He sent prophets to them to teach them and to call them to the right path. What they did with these is this: they beat them and many they killed. At the end the Father sent His only Son and did they respect Him. NO, they did not. Instead they beat Him and crucified Him. He died on the cross. If you had been there is Israel during My lifetime, you too would have done the same thing. You would have killed Me. So now that you believe in Me as the Son of God come and be My friend and follow Me every day. I love you all.”

The Authority of Jesus Questioned

Dear friends,
A reading from St. Mark’s Gospel (11.27-33):

They returned once more to Jerusalem. As he was walking in the temple area, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders approached him and said to him, “By what authority are you doing these things? Or who gave you this authority to do them?” Jesus said to them, “I shall ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. Was John’s baptism of heavenly or of human origin? Answer me.” They discussed this among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘Of heavenly origin,’ he will say, ‘ Then why did you not believe him?’ But shall we say, ‘Of human origin’?” – they feared the crowd, for they all thought John really was a prophet. So they said to Jesus in reply, “We do not know.” Then Jesus said to them, “Neither shall I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I call you all to believe in Me with all your heart My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters spread throughout the world. Many of the Jewish leaders did not believe in Me. They did not believe in John the Baptist who was a great prophet and who baptized Me in the Jordan River. The Jewish leaders rejected Me completely and ask that I be crucified and that is what Pontus Pilate at the end agreed to. Today there are many who do not believe in Me as the Son of God and the Savior of the world. They just make fun of Me. However, you, My dear faithful are completely different. You are at peace in believing in Me and following Me every day. You are blessed indeed and continue to witness to your faith and to your love of God and all human beings. I love you with infinite love.”

The Entry into Jerusalem

The Entry into Jerusalem

Dear friends,
A reading from A reading from St. Mark’s Gospel (11:1-11):

When they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately on entering it, you will find a colt tethered on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone should say to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ reply,‘The Master has need of it and will send it back here at once.'” So they went off and found a colt tethered at a gate outside on the street, and they untied it. Some of the bystanders said to them, “What are you doing, untying the colt?” They answered them just as Jesus had told them to, and they permitted them to do it. So they brought the colt to Jesus and put their cloaks over it. And he sat on it. Many people spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches that they had cut from the fields.
Those preceding him as well as those following kept crying out: “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is to come! Hosanna in the highest!” He entered Jerusalem and went into the temple area. He looked around at everything and, since it was already late, went out to Bethany with the Twelve.

When I was in Jerusalem on the Sunday of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem a group of us went to Bethany and marched to Jerusalem singing and following the same path that Jesus did.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and King given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I fill you with joy My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered in every continent of the world. Join Me in My solemn entry into Jerusalem. All the people were filled with joy as they traveled with Me to the gate of Jerusalem. The people honored Me as their King and indeed I am a King. However, you know that in a week’s time I would be condemned to death and nailed to a cross to die a horrible death. I accepted to suffer and die in order to bring salvation to you all. It is time now for the New Evangelization so that the people may come to accept once more that I am their Savior and I am the only One who can bring them to heaven. My people: be My witnesses to all the people you meet and you will be blessed. I give you My love, peace and joy.”
