Announcement of the Birth of John (2nd Part)

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (1:18-25):
Then Zechariah said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.” And the angel said to him in reply, “I am Gabriel, who stand before God. I was sent to speak to you and to announce to you this good news. But now you will be speechless and unable to talk until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled at their proper time.”
Meanwhile the people were waiting for Zechariah and were amazed that he stayed so long in the sanctuary. But when he came out, he was unable to speak to them, and they realized that he had seen a vision in the sanctuary. He was gesturing to them but remained mute.
Then, when his days of ministry were completed, he went home. After this time his wife Elizabeth conceived, and she went into seclusion for five months, saying, “So has the Lord done for me at a time when he has seen fit to take away my disgrace before others.”

We had a rainy day yesterday but the temperature was great about 7 degrees the whole day. The sun came out for a short time in the evening. We should have a nice day today. I thank all those who sent donations. They are a great help indeed. However, I am still short so if you can help I would be very pleased. My oil tank is almost empty.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
I call you to believe in Me, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in the world. Faith is so important in order to live a full life on earth. Look at Zechariah who was a priest but his wife never had a child. When the angel come in the sanctuary of the Temple in Jerusalem, the angel told him that his wife was to give birth to a boy whom they were to call John. His father refused to believe the angel because he and his wife were too old to have children. He did not believe that nothing is impossible for God. The Father can do all things and this is what He did for Elizabeth. Indeed she became pregnant in her old age and she was overjoyed that the Father had taken the disgrace from her.
I want you all My brothers and sisters not to follow Zechariah but to believe whatever the Father and I tell you especially what is written in the Bible. I told you that if you believe in Me and follow Me, you will be in heaven with Me one day. Leave your old ways behind and walk in the light that comes from Me. I love you all.

Announcement of the Birth of John

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (1:5-17):

In the days of Herod, King of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the priestly division of Abijah; his wife was from the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. Both were righteous in the eyes of God, observing all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren and both were advanced in years.
Once when he was serving as priest in his division’s turn before God, according to the practice of the priestly service, he was chosen by lot to enter the sanctuary of the Lord to burn incense. Then, when the whole assembly of the people was praying outside at the hour of the incense offering, the angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right of the altar of incense. Zechariah was troubled by what he saw, and fear came upon him. But the angel said to him,
“Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He will drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb, and he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. He will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of fathers toward children and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous, to prepare a people fit for the Lord.”

We had a snowstorm yesterday morning and it ended around 2:00 p.m. and then it started to rain. This is the first snowstorm of the season.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
I bless you My son Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered in all the countries of the world. My Holy Father arranged to begin My immediate entry into the world with the birth of St. John the Baptist. It was a great miracle how he was born. His parents were passed the time of having children but as Zachariah was incensing the altar, an angel appeared to him and announced that his wife would give birth to a son. This child was to prepare the people and introduce Me to the people. This happened when John baptized Me at the Jordan River. John was a great man who worked very well for Me and at the end he was martyred. He is now in heaven with Me. Do not forget to ask him for his prayers to help you. I love him with all My heart for all that he did. I want you all in close union with Me as you prepare for My great feast of Christmas. “

The Appearances of Jesus

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Gospel of St. Mark (16:9-13
):
When [Jesus] had risen, early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. She went and told his companions who were mourning and weeping. When they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.
After this he appeared in another form to two of them walking along on their way to the country. They returned and told the others; but they did not believe them either. But later, as the eleven were at table, he appeared to them and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart because they had not believed those who saw him after he had been raised. He said to them,
“Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents (with their hands), and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Today begins the season of Advent. We have four Sundays to prepare for the great feast of Christmas. Let us make a resolution to pray every day, to pray the rosary daily and to go to Holy Mass every Sunday and even during the week if it is at all possible.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
Peace be with you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living on earth at this time. At this time you are preparing for My birth in Bethlehem but today I wish to speak to you about the great event of My resurrection from the dead. After coming back to life on Easter morning, I showed myself first to Mary Magdalene and later to the Apostles and others saw Me too. I showed Myself to them so they could see with their eyes that I was indeed raised from the dead after being in the tomb for three days. It was very important for the Apostles to believe that I was risen from the dead, so that they would accept Me as the Messiah, the Savior of the world. As the Son of God, I could not remain in the tomb for, as you know God is life. As God I bring life to all of you. The Apostles did believe in Me and they worked hard to preach the good news throughout the world. I call you all, My brothers and sisters, to believe in Me with all your heart. Believe that I am your only Savior who has the power to bring you to heaven. I bless you all.
