The Calming of a Storm at Sea

Dear Friends,
A reading from
 St. Luke’s Gospel (8:22-25):
One day he got into a boat with his disciples and said to them, “Let us cross to the other side of the lake.” So they set sail, and while they were sailing he fell asleep. A squall blew over the lake, and they were taking in water and were in danger. They came and woke him saying, “Master, master, we are perishing!” He awakened, rebuked the wind and the waves, and they subsided and there was a calm. Then he asked them, “Where is your faith?” But they were filled with awe and amazed and said to one another, “Who then is this, who commands even the winds and the sea, and they obey him?”

I wish to thank again all those who sent me donations during the last month. It is a great help to buy heating oil and to pay my bills. If I did not have this money I would have to close the chapel of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island and move away. I am still short and I pray that those who can help will do so as soon as possible. You know the banks freeze all cheques now. If they are from Canada, the cheques are frozen for 10 working days and if they are from the USA, they are frozen for 20 working days and if they come from Europe, they are frozen for 30 days. Please find another way to send money such as bank to bank transfer or put the cash in the envelope and sent the letter by registered mail. Again I thank all those who have helped me in the past.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to me these words,
“I call you to have confidence in Me My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are baptized and believe in Me. You know the story of the wind on the lake. The Apostles and I were crossing the Lake of Galilee when a wind came up and the Apostles were afraid of drowning. I was asleep and they came and woke Me up. I got up and put out My hand and stopped the wind and the waves and then everything was calm. This was an action that helped the Apostles to believe in Me as the Messiah. Only God can do such things. This action of Mine is written in the Gospels to help you too to believe in Me. I performed many miracles when I was on earth and the Apostles saw many of them. You know that the Apostles are great saints and I call upon you all to believe their words as the truth. Through their words you too must come to believe that I am the Son of God and I have all power to do the things that only God can do. I am your Friend and I want to live with each one of you. I love you all.”

The Temptation of Jesus

The Temptation of Jesus

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (4:1-13):
Filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert, for forty days, to be tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and when they were over he was hungry. The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” Jesus answered him, “It is written, One does not live by bread alone.
Then he took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a single instant. The devil said to him, “I shall give to you all this power and their glory, for it has been handed over to me, and I may give it to whomever I wish. All this will be yours, if you worship me.” Jesus said to him in reply, “It is written: You shall worship the Lord, your God, and him alone shall you serve.
Then he led him to Jerusalem, made him stand on the parapet of the temple, and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here, for it is written:He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you, And with their hands they will support you, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” Jesus said to him in reply, “It also says, You shall not put the Lord, your God, to the test.” When the devil had finished every temptation, he departed from him for a time.

You know that I have a new e-mail address and I published it already sometime ago. It is: melvin.doucette@bellaliant.net.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow Me every day. You know that at the beginning of My public life, I was led into the desert for forty days and I was tempted by the devil. He tempted Me in different ways but I rejected every temptation of his. Never will I do anything asked by the evil one. I have given you all a very clear example of never giving in to the temptations of the devil. You must be always on the alert never to be deceived by your great enemy Satan. He wants you to reject Me and to follow him. If you follow him, you will end in hell but if you follow Me, you will come to heaven with Me. If you are close to Me, then you will have the graces you need to say ‘no’ to the evil one. So, I call you to remain united to Me, your Savior, who loves you and came to earth to pay the price for all your sins. The Father is ready to pardon you if you repent of all your sins. I love you and I want to live in your hearts forever.”

The Woman and the Dragon

The Woman and the Dragon

Dear Friends,
A reading from
 the Book of Revelation (12:1-6):
A great sign appeared in the sky
, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth. Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its head were seven diadems. Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth. She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught up to God and his throne. The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God, that there she might be taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days.

I hope you all had a great and wonderful New Year’s Day yesterday. I had a quiet day in prayer to start the New Year. First of all I want to thank all those who send me donation for Christmas. May the Lord bless you all. I celebrated Holy Mass yesterday and I prayed for all those in the Book of Remembrance. A priest who was inscribed in the Book of Remembrance and suffering from bone cancer has been completely healed. Praise the Lord for this great healing. If any of you are interested you can inscribe yourself and your relatives and friends in the book for only $15.00 for each one. I will offer three Masses a week for them for a whole year.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother, the Mother of God, given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
I am praying for you My son Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living on the face of the earth. You know that My Church has given Me the title of Mother of God, because I am the Mother of Jesus, the Son of God and the feast is on the First of January, New Year’s Day.
“My son Melvin, there will be great changes for you during this year. You will see every problem solved and every restriction will be lifted. I want you to begin the two Religious Societies and to begin also the Families for Jesus. I call all My children to come and follow My Son Jesus and He will bring you great peace and joy in your life. Pray every day and do not forget to pray your rosary every day. I bless you all.”
