The Conditions of Discipleship

Dear Friends,
A reading from
 St. Luke’s Gospel (9:23-27):
Then Jesus said to all, “If anyone wishes to come after me
, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. What profit is there for one to gain the whole world yet lose or forfeit himself? Whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. Truly I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.”

I wish to thank you all for your prayers. Many have phoned me and written to me that they are praying for me and for the mission that Our Lord and Our Blessed Mother have given me. Your prayers have been a great help to me. I was very sick for some months during the summer and the fall, but now I am completely healed and my strength is back as usual. Many too are praying for the mission I have been given. There are wonderful changes coming soon and I pray that I will soon have the money needed to build and the restrictions will be lifted. Please continue to pray for all these intentions.

Below you will find the message of Our Dear Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
Open your hearts to me My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who accept Me as the Son of God who came on earth with a great mission to save you all. I want you all to be very close disciples of mine. You need to be humble by always being ready to offer yourselves totally to Me and to carry your cross every day. Your cross is the suffering, the burden and the hardship you carry at times in your lives. Each person is sick at times and that too is a cross. In any suffering you are going through, you are to offer all of this to Me for the forgiveness of your sins and for the sins of all the world. Your God is always ready to forgive you if you are truly repentant and do not forget to ask for the graces you need to do better in the future. If you put Me first in your life then I will be your light to lead you along the right path on earth and one day you will reach your destination, which is heaven, where you will be united to Me, your Savior and Lord, forever. I love you all.

The Epiphany

Dear Friends,
A reading from St
. Matthews Gospel (2:1-12):
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage.”
When King Herod heard this, he was greatly troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. Assembling all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born. They said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it has been written through the prophet: ‘And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; since from you shall come a ruler, who is to shepherd my people Israel.’
Then Herod called the magi secretly and ascertained from them the time of the star’s appearance. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search diligently for the child. When you have found him, bring me word, that I too may go and do him homage.”
After their audience with the king they set out. And behold, the star that they had seen at its rising preceded them, until it came and stopped over the place where the child was. They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed for their country by another way.

I wish you all a Holy and Happy Epiphany of the Lord!

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be filled with joy My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow Me every day. Today is the Feast of the Epiphany when I was visited in Bethlehem as a child by the three magi. These men came from the East and were not Jews. This proves to you that I came into the world not just for the salvation of the Jews but for the salvation of all the people of the world. My sacrifice on the cross was for all of you who live in every part of the world. What is needed from you is faith in Me your Savior. I want you all in My Church as full members and to be a people of prayer. You need to pray every day. I bless you all.”

The Parable of the Lamp and Jesus’ Family

The Parable of the Lamp and Jesus’ Family

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (
8:16-21):
[Jesus said]: “No one who lights a lamp conceals it with a vessel or sets it under a bed; rather, he places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light. For there is nothing hidden that will not become visible, and nothing secret that will not be known and come to light. Take care, then, how you hear. To anyone who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he seems to have will be taken away.”
Then his mother and his brothers came to him but were unable to join him because of the crowd. He was told, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside and they wish to see you.” He said to them in reply, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and act on it.”

Lately a number of people have written to me to have names entered in the Book of Remembrance. You know that I celebrate three Holy Masses a week for a whole year for all those written in the book. Many have been healed and others have returned to the church after being away for some time. If you wish to enter the names of some of your relatives and friends both living and dead, please write to me with the names. It costs $15.00 per person to enter them in the Book of Remembrance. You can send the money by PayPal in my website:www.ourladyofpei.com. You will find PayPal on that site.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I embrace you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters spread throughout the world. If you believe in My Son Jesus, then truly I am your Mother. My Son is the light that came into the world to chase away the darkness. Let Him come to you and your heart will be filled with light. You will live by the truth as His Church teaches you. Jesus told the people one day when I came to visit Him with some of My relatives these words, ‘My Mother and My brothers are those who hear the word of God and act on it.’ This means that if you listen to My Son and act on what He says, then you are like His Mother and His relatives. I am praying that you all become great believers in the Son of God and live daily in His presence. I am working together with Him to bring as many of My children to heaven. Work with us, My sons and daughters, and you will be united with us forever in eternity. I love you all.”
