The Answer to Prayer

Dear Friends,
A reading from
St. Luke’s Gospel (11:9-13):
[Jesus said:] “And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. What father among you would hand his son a snake when he asks for a fish? Or hand him a scorpion when he asks for an egg? If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven give the holy Spirit to those who ask him?”

A good number of people these days are using PayPal to send money for different things. Some want their people inscribed in the Book of Remembrance and they send the money via PayPal. Some asks for books and pay through PayPal while others send a donation in the same way. You will find PayPal in Our Lady’s website and the address is: ourladyofpei.com.
The Lord is at work helping many people and what greater prayer is there than Holy Mass. I wish to thank those who sent me money to buy especially heating oil and I will need more oil during the coming week.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. He spoke to him these words,
“I call you all to prayers especially you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me your Savior. Prayer is as important for you as blood is important for your body. Without prayer by which you receive graces, you will not be able to do anything good. On your own you cannot follow the right path that leads to eternal life. So I call you to come to me every day in prayer and to ask Me for what you need. I am always ready to answer your prayer if you come with an open heart and fervent faith. I am always ready to help the poor, the sick, the depressed and those who are looking for a job. Come to Me and make a sincere prayer and I will help you; perhaps not immediately but in time. Remember I am your friend who loves you.”

The Lord’s Prayer

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (11:1-8):

[Jesus] was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread and forgive us our sins
for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us,
and do not subject us to the final test.”

And he said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend to whom he goes at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, for a friend of mine has arrived at my house from a journey and I have nothing to offer him,’ and he says in reply from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door has already been locked and my children and I are already in bed. I cannot get up to give you anything.’ I tell you, if he does not get up to give him the loaves because of their friendship, he will get up to give him whatever he needs because of his persistence.”

Again I wish to thank all those who have sent me cheques and money to help me get over Christmas. I am at the end of my heating oil as the tank is going empty, and I do not have enough yet to fill the tank. I truly need your help. Please send me cash if possible because I can freeze to death before I get the money from the cheques. May the Lord bless you all.

Below you will find the message of Our Dear Mother Mary given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I am praying for you My dear son Melvin and all My sons and daughters spread all over the world. I pray for you all the time asking My Son Jesus to give you all the graces and help that you need. I call upon you all to pray and you know that My Son Jesus taught you a beautiful prayer, which you should pray many times a day. It is the Our Father. This prayer gives honor to God the Father and asks for His Kingdom to come. Through this prayer you pray for your food and you ask the Father to forgive you all your sins. You too therefore are to forgive all those who have offended you in any way. It is a beautiful and simple prayer, which you must learn and repeat often. My Son also teaches you that all people are your friends and you should act as a friend to all those in need. Never refuse to help those who ask for help. I intercede for all of you my children and remain always close to Jesus, your Savior, and to Me, your Mother. I love you all.”

Martha and Mary

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (
10:38-42):
As Jesus and the disciples continued their journey he entered a village where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him. She had a sister named Mary who sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak. Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help me.” The Lord said to her in reply, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her.”

I thank the Lord for the nice weather we had yesterday. It was sunny all day and the temperature was mild. I had an appointment with my doctor yesterday afternoon so I went and he gave me a good report. I had gone at the beginning of the week for blood tests and other tests as well. They all came back very good. So I am happy to announce that I am doing well although I still have diabetes. I thank the Lord for taking good care of me.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in every country of the world. You know the story of the two sisters: Martha and Mary. Martha was the busybody while Mary was more spiritual and love to listen to Me. One day when I was at their home with the Apostles, Mary came and sat at My feet to listen to what I had to say while Martha was busy preparing something to eat. Of course Martha wanted her sister to come and help her. I felt that it was not that important to eat a big meal, which Martha was preparing. I am their Savior as well as yours and I had something I wanted to speak to them about. That is why I said that Mary had taken the better place because she was listening to My words and contemplating them. Martha did not listen to anything as she was running here and there to prepare the meal. As you see Mary had taken the best place for she did what I wanted her to do. You too My brothers and sisters need to listen to Me. I speak to you through the Bible especially the Gospels and I also speak to you when you contemplate. Come every day to hear what I have for you. I love you all.”
