Courage under Persecution

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (12:1-9):
Meanwhile, so many people were crowding together that they were trampling one another underfoot. He began to speak, first to his disciples, “Beware of the leaven – that is, the hypocrisy – of the Pharisees.
“There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed on the housetops. I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body but after that can do no more. I shall show you whom to fear. Be afraid of the one who after killing has the power to cast into Gehenna; yes, I tell you, be afraid of that one. Are not five sparrows sold for two small coins? Yet not one of them has escaped the notice of God. Even the hairs of your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows. I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God.”

          We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and now there is no more snow on the pavement in front of the house. We had really beautiful days this week and I thank the Lord.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be at peace My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in every country of the world. My Church has been persecuted all the time in one country or another. She has been mocked by government and by the public. She is not accepted by many public people because she in against abortion, same-sex marriage, euthanasia, divorce and living in concubinage, but My dear brothers and sisters, do not be afraid of those people. They are not acting according to My will. Do not be afraid to march for what is right and to support those who have given their life to change the laws of the country. If a Government does not follow Me, then they are following the evil one and horrible things will happen in the future. Pray that the Government people will change for the good and so peace may reign in that country. I bless you all.”

The Return of the Unclean Spirit

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (11:26-32):
“When an unclean spirit goes out of someone, it roams through arid regions searching for rest but, finding none, it says,‘I shall return to my home from which I came.’ But upon returning, it finds it swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and brings back seven other spirits more wicked than itself who move in and dwell there, and the last condition of that person is worse than the first.”
While he was speaking, a woman from the crowd called out and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed.” He replied, “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”
While still more people gathered in the crowd, he said to them, “This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah. Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. At the judgment the queen of the south will rise with the men of this generation and she will condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and there is something greater than Solomon here. At the judgment the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because at the preaching of Jonah they repented, and there is something greater than Jonah here.”

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be on alert My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me and follow Me. There is another one who is trying to get you on his side and that is Satan, who is really your enemy. He has nothing good to give you. If you have an evil spirit and it is chased away, it can come back with seven worst spirits if you do not do what I tell you. When you are cleared of an evil spirit, you have to turn to Me and ask Me to fill you with the Holy Spirit. You have to pray regularly and go to church every Sunday and avoid sin. If you do this then no evil spirit will be able to come back and enter you. If I am in your heart then you will be safe. I love you and I bless you.”

Jesus and Beelzebul

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (11:14-23):
He was driving out a demon that was mute, and when the demon had gone out, the mute person spoke and the crowds were amazed. Some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons, he drives out demons.” Others, to test him, asked him for a sign from heaven. But he knew their thoughts and said to them,
“Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against house. And if Satan is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that it is by Beelzebul that I drive out demons. If I, then, drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your own people drive them out? Therefore they will be your judges. But if it is by the finger of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
“When a strong man fully armed guards his palace, his possessions are safe. But when one stronger than he attacks and overcomes him, he takes away the armor on which he relied and distributes the spoils. Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.”

          Today Monday we begin ordinary time in the church. The season of Christmas is over. It ended yesterday with the Feast of the Baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist at the Jordan River.

          Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I fill you with My graces My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow Me every day. You know Satan is in the world and he is always going around tempting you to sin. Some people have done horrible things with the result that they are possessed by evil spirits. When I was on earth I expelled many evil spirits from people. In no time they were freed and could live normally. It is important for those possessed people that they believe in Me. Before chasing the evil one I would ask the possessed person if he or she believed.
“Today I have given the power to expel evil spirits to many of My followers especially priests. They are to pray for that person and chase away the evil one and the person will be freed. You are not to get involved again in any occult practices such as reiki, black masses, new age and any other devilish practices. Remain in My Church and follow the teachings of My Church and you will never be possessed by Satan or his evil spirits. I am your Savior and I love you.”
