The Healing of the Blind Beggar

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (
18:35-43):
Now as [Jesus] approached Jericho a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging, and hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what was happening. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” He shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!” The people walking in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent, but he kept calling out all the more, “Son of David, have pity on me!” Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, please let me see.” Jesus told him, “Have sight; your faith has saved you.” He immediately received his sight and followed him, giving glory to God. When they saw this, all the people gave praise to God.

I ask you all to pray today for the meeting I will have at my place. Some people will come to talk about the last year and what we are to do in the future. I would like to begin soon the weekly meetings of prayer for the Families for Jesus. I pray that we will soon begin.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Believe that I have all power My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me. You know that I am the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. When I was on earth I used this power at times to perform miracles especially the healing of sick people and also those who were blind, mute or deaf. I even brought some of the dead back to life. Today I have the same power as I did then. I am working in powerful ways among you at all times. I have given the power of healing to many of My followers and when they pray for the healing of sick people, many of these people become well. My power of healing goes through those chosen ones. Those who have the power of healing are to be respected for they are My true disciples. Their work is authenticated through the healings brought about by them. Love them and come to listen to them. I love you and bless you all.”

On Riches and Renunciation

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (18:24-34):

Jesus looked at him (now sad) and said, “How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” Those who heard this said, “Then who can be saved?” And he said, “What is impossible for human beings is possible for God.” Then Peter said, “We have given up our possessions and followed you.” He said to them, “Amen, I say to you, there is no one who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God who will not receive back an overabundant return in this present age and eternal life in the age to come.”
Then he took the Twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem and everything written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. He will be handed over to the Gentiles and he will be mocked and insulted and spat upon; and after they have scourged him they will kill him, but on the third day he will rise.” But they understood nothing of this; the word remained hidden from them and they failed to comprehend what he said.

The temperature yesterday was better and it will be less cold in the days to come.

Below you will find the message of Jesus, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I suffered greatly for you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live today on the face of the earth. I also suffered for those in the past and I suffered for those in the future. My suffering was to win for you the Kingdom of God and life everlasting in heaven. Do not be like the rich man in the parable. Because of his wealth, he did not want to follow Me. He preferred enjoyment and worldly pleasure than doing what I asked of him. It is a fact that the lure of the world can be strong for people with money but their joy lasts only a short time and then they will suffer forever. Come and follow Me and offer Me all your pain, suffering and tiredness and you will be blessed. Be men and women of prayer who love to imitate Me. I gave Myself totally for your redemption; give yourselves totally to Me who am your Savior and you will receive all you need in this life and great happiness in the life to come. I love you all.”

P.S. I wish you all a fine Sunday.

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (
18:1-8):
Then [Jesus] told them a parable about the necessity for them to pray always without becoming weary. He said, “There was a judge in a certain town who neither feared God nor respected any human being. And a widow in that town used to come to him and say, ‘Render a just decision for me against my adversary.’ For a long time the judge was unwilling, but eventually he thought, ‘While it is true that I neither fear God nor respect any human being, because this widow keeps bothering me I shall deliver a just decision for her lest she finally come and strike me.’” The Lord said, “Pay attention to what the dishonest judge says. Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night? Will he be slow to answer them? I tell you, he will see to it that justice is done for them speedily. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

Yesterday was the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. I pray very much for the conversion of all unbelievers that they come to believe in Our Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart and pray regularly and go to Holy Mass at least every Sunday. I also prayed for the unity of all Christians.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“Be people of truth My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who believe in My Son Jesus and pray regularly. What does the parable of the persistent widow mean? The judge is God the Father and the persistent widow is each one of you. You know that you are all sinners and you need to repent of your sins. Go to My Son Jesus and ask Him for what you need. Do not ask Him only once but go every day until you receive what you ask Him. Often your Lord might not give you what you need immediately until He sees that you are truly a person of faith. Some people ask only once and refuse to ask again. They think the Lord is gone or asleep. No, He hears all your prayers and everything you ask. Go with great faith and humility to Him and you will receive what you ask. This widow received at the end what she wanted and you too will receive the special gift from God.
“I am praying for you all that you follow Jesus, My Son, and that you make use of all the graces given to you. Love one another and forgive all those who hurt you in any way. I love you all.”
