The Crucifixion

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (23:33-43):

When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him and the criminals there, one on his right, the other on his left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” They divided his garments by casting lots. The people stood by and watched; the rulers, meanwhile, sneered at him and said, “He saved others, let him save himself if he is the chosen one, the Messiah of God.” Even the soldiers jeered at him. As they approached to offer him wine they called out, “If you are King of the Jews, save yourself.” Above him there was an inscription that read, “This is the King of the Jews.”
Now one of the criminals hanging there reviled Jesus, saying, “Are you not the Messiah? Save yourself and us.” The other, however, rebuking him, said in reply, “Have you no fear of God, for you are subject to the same condemnation? And indeed, we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has done nothing criminal.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” He replied to him, “Amen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

The snow stopped yesterday but it was windy the whole day and the snow was blowing everywhere. Today we should see the sun.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“When I was on the cross I spoke these words and again now, I say I forgive you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have sinned against your God. It was on the cross that I atoned for your sins. In dying in great suffering, I was able to pay the price for all your offenses against your Heavenly Father and against Me His Son. These people tortured Me, beat Me and insulted Me in many ways. I carried My cross to the place where they crucified Me. They laid Me on the cross and drove large nails in the hands and feet which caused Me awful pain. Blood flowed from these wounds and fell upon the ground. I hung on the cross for about three hours and then I died. In dying I had completed My total sacrifice of Myself for your salvation.
“Come My dear friends and contemplate Me hanging on the cross. You are the one who should be hanging on the cross because you are the one who sinned, but I took your place. I love you all.”

The Way of the Cross

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (23:26-32):

As they led [Jesus] away they took hold of a certain Simon, a Cyrenian, who was coming in from the country; and after laying the cross on him, they made him carry it behind Jesus. A large crowd of people followed Jesus, including many women who mourned and lamented him. Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep instead for yourselves and for your children, for indeed, the days are coming when people will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed.’ At that time people will say to the mountains, ‘Fall upon us!’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us!’ for if these things are done when the wood is green what will happen when it is dry?” Now two others, both criminals, were led away with him to be executed.

We had a big snowstorm yesterday afternoon although the temperature was just around the freezing point. The wind came up and it blew some snow but not too much because it was too heavy and wet.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Repent of all your sins My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who contemplate My Way of the Cross. When they gave Me the cross to carry I was very weak after the terrible scourging and I fell many times trying to carry this heavy cross. They got a man by the name of Simon to help Me carry My cross. They were leading Me to the place of the skull where they would crucify Me.
“Can you imagine that the creatures of God killed the Son of God who was with the Father when He created the world and everything in it. He was also present when each person was created for the life of every human being comes from God. I came to die for you to show you how horrible sin is and to offer the Father a perfect sacrifice to atone for your sins. My sacrifice is what won you the pardon for your sins and the graces you need to follow Me in the world and to come and live with Me forever in heaven. Believe that I am your only Savior and I suffered everything out of love for you. You are all very dear to Me.”

The Sentence of Death

The Sentence of Death

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (
23:18-25):
But all together [the Jewish leaders] shouted out, “Away with this man! Release Barabbas to us.” Now Barabbas had been imprisoned for a rebellion that had taken place in the city and for murder. Again Pilate addressed them, still wishing to release Jesus, but they continued their shouting, “Crucify him! Crucify him!” Pilate addressed them a third time, “What evil has this man done? I found him guilty of no capital crime. Therefore I shall have him flogged and then release him.” With loud shouts, however, they persisted in calling for his crucifixion, and their voices prevailed. The verdict of Pilate was that their demand should be granted. So he released the man who had been imprisoned for rebellion and murder, for whom they asked, and he handed Jesus over to them to deal with as they wished.

Our Blessed Mother is surely praying so I received all that is needed to pay the taxes as soon as possible. I do not want to lose the beautiful place for Our Lady and the property on which the chapel stands.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Give Me your heart My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who accept Me as your Messiah and Lord. Pilate said more than once that I had not committed any crime that deserved death, but at the end in gave in to the people’s desire and sent Me away to be crucified. What horrible injustice this was. I was killed although I did not do anything wrong. Yet I accepted to suffer and die for each one of you so that your sins could be taken away and that heaven would be opened for you to enter.
“You are now in the season of Lent, the time to repent of all your sins. Besides repentance you need to change your ways. Those who are on drugs for example must come to the conclusion that they have to stop taking these things. Those who are abusing alcohol will have to stop too. Those who are using swear words often when they speak will have to change their ways. All those who are in the habit of committing sins will have to change their ways and follow the commandments that the Father has given you. In this way you will grow closer to Me and you will be blessed with many graces and gifts. I love you all.”
