Peter’s Speech

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (3:11-21):
As [the cured man] clung to Peter and John, all the people hurried in amazement toward them in the portico called “Solomon’s Portico.” When Peter saw this, he addressed the people,
“You Israelites, why are you amazed at this, and why do you look so intently at us as if we had made him walk by our own power or piety? The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our ancestors, has glorified his servant Jesus whom you handed over and denied in Pilate’s presence, when he had decided to release him. You denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. The author of life you put to death, but God raised him from the dead; of this we are witnesses. And by faith in his name, this man, whom you see and know, his name has made strong, and the faith that comes through it has given him this perfect health, in the presence of all of you.
“Now I know, brothers, that you acted out of ignorance, just as your leaders did; but God has thus brought to fulfillment what he had announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets, that his Messiah would suffer. Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away, and that the Lord may grant you times of refreshment and send you the Messiah already appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the times of universal restoration of which God spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets from of old.”

I am preparing for the Healing Service today by praying for all those who will come. I pray that the Lord will heal the sick, strengthen those weak in faith and give special graces to all those who will take part. May He bless them all.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I call you all to have strong faith My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live in every country of the world. It was because of the lack of faith of the Jewish people, that I was arrested, beaten and crucified and was killed. They did not believe in Me, the Son of God and the Savior of the world. Today there are many who have lost faith in Me but there are still many who believe with all their heart and they bring me great joy. Pray for those people who have no faith or have very weak faith. Without faith it is impossible for me to do anything for them. I want to help you but you have to cooperate with Me by believing in Me, following My teachings and that of My Church. Come My dear friends, let us work together to accomplish great things in the world. I love you all.”

Father Melvin
P.S. I will pray for you all this evening at the Healing Service. May the Lord bless you all.

Cure of a Crippled Beggar

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (3:1-10):
Now Peter and John were going up to the temple area for the three o’clock hour of prayer. And a man crippled from birth was carried and placed at the gate of the temple called “the Beautiful Gate” every day to beg for alms from the people who entered the temple. When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked for alms. But Peter looked intently at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.” He paid attention to them, expecting to receive something from them. Peter said, “I have neither silver nor gold, but what I do have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean, rise and walk.”
Then Peter took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles grew strong. He leaped up, stood, and walked around, and went into the temple with them, walking and jumping and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the one who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with amazement and astonishment at what had happened to him.

People are calling from as far away as British Columbia that they want to attend the Healing Service at 7:30 this coming Friday at my chapel in Palmer Road. All are welcome to attend. We will start with the rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I am the world’s healer My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who inhabit the world today. When I was on earth I healed thousands and thousands of people from all kinds of sicknesses and I even brought some of the dead back to life. As you see from the reading, I gave the same power to the Apostles and they healed many people too. One of the first to be healed by Saint Peter was this crippled man who sat at the entrance to the temple in Jerusalem. People were amazed to see him walk and jump around after Peter healed him. You, too, My brother Melvin, I gave you the same power that Saint Peter had. You healed many people by praying over them. Continue My brother to pray on the sick and many will be healed. This shows that I am the Son of God and I have all power. Believe in Me and you will see many wonderful happenings. I bless you all.”

The Appearance to the Disciples

The Appearance to the Disciples

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (24:36-49):
While [the apostles] were still speaking about this, [Jesus] stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” But they were startled and terrified and thought that they were seeing a ghost. Then he said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do questions arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.” And as he said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. While they were still incredulous for joy and were amazed, he asked them, “Have you anything here to eat?” They gave him a piece of baked fish; he took it and ate it in front of them.
He said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and in the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures. And he said to them, “Thus it is written that the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold I am sending the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

The coming Friday is the first Friday of April. I will have a Healing Service in the chapel at my place on Friday evening, April 5th. I will start with the rosary at 7:00 p.m. and the service will begin at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Resurrected Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I am the Risen One My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the earth. On Easter evening I appeared to the Apostles in the upper room where all the doors were locked. They were frightened because they did not believe that I had come back to life after I had died on the cross. They thought that was the end for Me. I came and showed them that I was not a ghost. I ate food and I showed them the mark of the nails in My hands and My feet. It took time but at last they believed that I was truly risen from the dead. I gave them this command that they are to be My witnesses in Jerusalem and throughout the world. I show you that the Apostles believed in Me with all their heart and so you too are to believe that I am risen and that I am calling you all to enter My Church and to be part of My Kingdom. I bless you all.”
