Trial before the Sanhedrin

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (5:21b-32):

When they heard this, they went to the temple early in the morning and taught. When the high priest and his companions arrived, they convened the Sanhedrin, the full senate of the Israelites, and sent to the jail to have [the Apostles] brought in. But the court officers who went did not find them in the prison, so they came back and reported, “We found the jail securely locked and the guards stationed outside the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside.” When they heard this report, the captain of the temple guard and the chief priests were at a loss about them, as to what this would come to. Then someone came in and reported to them, “The men whom you put in prison are in the temple area and are teaching the people.”
Then the captain and the court officers went and brought them in, but without force, because they were afraid of being stoned by the people. When they had brought them in and made them stand before the Sanhedrin, the high priest questioned them, “We gave you strict orders (did we not?) to stop teaching in that name. Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and want to bring this man’s blood upon us.” But Peter and the apostles said in reply, “We must obey God rather than men. The God of our ancestors raised Jesus, though you had him killed by hanging him on a tree. God exalted him at his right hand as leader and savior to grant Israel repentance and forgiveness of sins. We are witnesses of these things, as is the holy Spirit that God has given to those who obey him.”

Yesterday was the Feast of Divine Mercy brought about by St. Faustina and the Feast was created by Blessed John Paul II. We are all called to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet every day.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be bold in teaching about Me My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me and are part of My Kingdom. The Apostles were not afraid to go to the temple and teach the people about Me. They had been arrested by the officers of the high priest but an angel came during the night and opened the doors of the prison and let them out and told them to go back to the temple to teach. This is exactly what the Apostles did without any fear. The high priest and his companions wanted another trial of the Apostles and went they sent the officers to get the Apostles they found that none of them were in prison. The prison was locked but there was nobody inside. Later they found out that the Apostles were in the temple and they went and arrested them again.
“My dear friends do not be afraid to show your faith to those you meet. Some might laugh at you and mock you, but do not mind because that is what some did to the Apostles. If you are not accepted in one place then go to another. You will find some people will be ready to listen to you. I bless you all.”

Signs and Wonders of the Apostles

Signs and Wonders of the Apostles

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (5:12-21a):

Many signs and wonders were done among the people at the hands of the apostles. They were all together in Solomon’s portico. None of the others dared to join them, but the people esteemed them. Yet more than ever, believers in the Lord, great numbers of men and women, were added to them. Thus they even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on cots and mats so that when Peter came by, at least his shadow might fall on one or another of them. A large number of people from the towns in the vicinity of Jerusalem also gathered, bringing the sick and those disturbed by unclean spirits, and they were all cured.
Then the high priest rose up and all his companions, that is, the party of the Sadducees, and, filled with jealousy, laid hands upon the apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night, the angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison, led them out, and said, “Go and take your place in the temple area, and tell the people everything about this life.” When they heard this, they went to the temple early in the morning and taught.

We had a cold day yesterday but the sun came out in the afternoon and it was warmer although it was windy.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Believe that I have all power My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters as you rejoice during this Easter Season. Saint Peter and the other Apostles received a great gift from Me to heal the sick people and those possessed by evil spirits. However, the chief priest and the Sadducees were not happy about this at all. They had Peter and the others arrested and placed in jail. I sent the angel to open the door and to let them out and to return to the temple to do their work. They worked very well and attracted many people who came to listen to them and to believe in Me.
“This great work of mine continues today in many parts of the world. I have chosen a good number of people to do just like Saint Peter and the other Apostles and there are many who marveled at these great healings and come to believe and follow Me. Only One with divine power can bring about these great miracles. See that I am working miracles in My Church for I want you to be part of this great Community founded by Me. It is the Catholic Church. I bless you all.”

Prayer of the Community

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (4:23-31):

After their release [Peter and John] went back to their own people and reported what the chief priests and elders had told them. And when they heard it, they raised their voices to God with one accord and said,
“Sovereign Lord, maker of heaven and earth and the sea and all that is in them, you said by the holy Spirit through the mouth of our father David, your servant: ‘Why did the Gentiles rage and the peoples entertain folly? The kings of the earth took their stand and the princes gathered together against the Lord and against his anointed.’ Indeed they gathered in this city against your holy servant Jesus whom you anointed, Herod and Pontius Pilate, together with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, to do what your hand and your will had long ago planned to take place. And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and enable your servants to speak your word with all boldness, as you stretch forth your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
As they prayed, the place where they were gathered shook, and they were all filled with the holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

I had a Healing Service last evening and a small group turned up. I prayed for all those present and for those who sent their names. The presence of Our Lord and Our Blessed Mother was felt by me and by many others.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who believe in My Son Jesus as their Lord and Savior. After Peter had healed a crippled man in the name of Jesus, many people began to believe in My Son and to praise Him. However, Peter as well as John were arrested for talking about My Risen Son and they were brought to court with the healed man. At the end they sent them away warning them not to preach about Jesus again. This of course they could not do.
“I was part of the Jerusalem community and I was praying for all the members. I had had an appearance of My Son Jesus who came to visit Me as soon as He rose from the dead. This is not reported in the Bible but you can understand that He came to visit Me as I am His Mother and He loves Me very much. I call you all to rejoice during these days following Easter, the Feast of the Resurrection of Jesus, My Son. I want you all to bind yourselves completely to Him and to minister to Him by helping all those who suffer in any way. In this way you are serving Him. I bless you all.”
