The Vision of Cornelius

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (10:1-8):
Now in Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of the Cohort called the Italica, devout and God-fearing along with his whole household, who used to give alms generously to the Jewish people and pray to God constantly. One afternoon about three o’clock, he saw plainly in a vision an angel of God come in to him and say to him, “Cornelius.” He looked intently at him and seized with fear, said, “What is it, sir?” He said to him, “Your prayers and almsgiving have ascended as a memorial offering before God. Now send some men to Joppa, and summon one Simon who is called Peter. He is staying with another Simon, a tanner, who has a house by the sea.” When the angel who spoke to him had left, he called two of his servants and a devout soldier from his staff, explained everything to them, and sent them to Joppa.

My friend who has been with me for over a week left for home early yesterday morning. He lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I enjoyed his visit and I hope he comes to visit me again later. We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday, although it was cold in the morning. It was nice and mild in the afternoon.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“The Father hears all your prayers, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have great love for Him. He loves you all and He continues to give you many graces and gifts every day. I love you too and I listen to all your prayers and requests. Cornelius, even before he was a Christian, was a man of prayer and the Father listened to his prayers and sent an angel to tell him to go and get Saint Peter to come to his house. It is true that sometimes the Father intervenes in a very personal way to help those in need. He wanted Cornelius and his whole family to receive the Holy Spirit and to be baptized and so enter My Kingdom and My Church.
“Even today many Moslems receive a person invitation either through a vision or in a dream while they are sleeping. I call them to come and believe in Me and My Church. Today many Moslem people listen to My words and leave the Moslem faith and become Christians. This happens all over the Moslem world and especially in North Africa and in Europe and North America. You have known, Melvin, some who were Moslems, and now they are Catholics. I was the one who invited them to believe in Me, their Savior. Pray my dear friends for the conversion of Moslems, Hindus, Buddhists and all who belong to other religions. I want them all with Me and in My Church I founded on Saint Peter. I love you all.”

Peter Performs Miracles

Peter Performs Miracles

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (9:32-43):

As Peter was passing through every region, he went down to the holy ones living in Lydda. There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been confined to bed for eight years, for he was paralyzed. Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed.” He got up at once. And all the inhabitants of Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which translated means Dorcas). She was completely occupied with good deeds and almsgiving. Now during those days she fell sick and died, so after washing her, they laid her out in a room upstairs. Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him with the request, “Please come to us without delay.” So Peter got up and went with them. When he arrived, they took him to the room upstairs where all the widows came to him weeping and showing him the tunics and cloaks that Dorcas had made while she was with them. Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed. Then he turned to her body and said, “Tabitha, rise up.” She opened her eyes, saw Peter, and sat up. He gave her his hand and raised her up, and when he had called the holy ones and the widows, he presented her alive. This became known all over Joppa, and many came to believe in the Lord. And he stayed a long time in Joppa with Simon, a tanner.

We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and it will be sunny again today. The temperature has gone down but it will go up again tomorrow.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Rejoice My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me, because great miracles do happen all the time throughout the world. St. Peter healed a man who was paralyzed for eight years and he raised a woman to life who had died. This I did through him who had been given this great gift. See in the Bible the result of these miracles. The people of Lydda and Sharon came and believed in Me as their Savior. The same thing happened in Joppa where this woman lived. Many came to believe in Me and they followed Me.
“Often the people have to see great things with their eyes before they will accept Me as their Lord. With these miracles, they open their hearts to receive My gift of faith and they come out of darkness into the light for I am the Light of the world. Melvin, a man from Nova Scotia came to your Healing Mass and he had difficulty to walk. He had to walk with a cane. He was completely healed and he was a Protestant. Shortly after his healing he became a Catholic and accepted me wholeheartedly. He is now an active member of My Church. I love you all and I call you all to follow Me.”

St. Paul begins to Preach

St. Paul begins to Preach

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (9:19-30):

He stayed some days with the disciples in Damascus, and he began at once to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. All who heard him were astounded and said, “Is not this the man who in Jerusalem ravaged those who call upon this name, and came here expressly to take them back in chains to the chief priests?”
But Saul grew all the stronger and confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus, proving that this is the Messiah. After a long time had passed, the Jews conspired to kill him, but their plot became known to Saul. Now they were keeping watch on the gates day and night so as to kill him, but his disciples took him one night and let him down through an opening in the wall, lowering him in a basket.
When he arrived in Jerusalem he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple. Then Barnabas took charge of him and brought him to the apostles, and he reported to them how on the way he had seen the Lord and that he had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had spoken out boldly in the name of Jesus. He moved about freely with them in Jerusalem, and spoke out boldly in the name of the Lord. He also spoke and debated with the Hellenists, but they tried to kill him. And when the brothers learned of this, they took him down to Caesarea and sent him on his way to Tarsus.

I thank all those who have been praying for this special intention of Our Blessed Mother. Please continue your prayers and I know She is happy that you are listening to Her.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Do not fear, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are dedicated to Me. Some might try to stop you for speaking about Me or threaten you if you continue. When Paul was baptized, soon after he started to preach in the synagogues to the Jews about Me. They could not believe that he would talk about Me, as he had fought the Church and wanted to destroy it. After his encounter with Me on the road, he was completely changed and believed in Me with all his heart. The Jews wanted to kill him, but I helped him to get away.
“Learn from St. Paul and do not be afraid. Be My witness to all the people you meet. Tell them that I love them and I want them with Me. They have to believe in Me if they want to get to heaven some day. You are to be My missionary to the people you live with. Your faith and works will bring many to follow Me. I love you all.”
