Destiny of Glory

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans (8:14-27):

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received a spirit of adoption, through which we cry, “Abba, Father!” The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if only we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us. For creation awaits with eager expectation the revelation of the children of God; for creation was made subject to futility, not of its own accord but because of the one who subjected it, in hope that creation itself would be set free from slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that all creation is groaning in labor pains even until now; and not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, we also groan within ourselves as we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For in hope we were saved. Now hope that sees for itself is not hope. For who hopes for what one sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait with endurance.
In the same way, the Spirit too comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes with inexpressible groanings. And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because it intercedes for the holy ones according to God’s will.

We are approaching Canada Day, so let us pray for all the Canadians that they may have great faith and walk daily with the Lord. Canada Day is on July 1st.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I want you all to be children of God My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live in every country of the world. If you are truly the children of God then you can surely call God your Father and that is what He is. All the children of God are destined for heavenly glory one day. Have great love, My brothers and sisters, for your Heavenly Father, who created you and is helping you every day and have great love too for Me your Brother and Savior. Do not forget God the Holy Spirit who is at work in all of you to bring you to holiness and to heaven one day.
“You all have a great destiny and I do not want anyone of you to miss that destiny. It is by remaining faithful to your Heavenly Father and to Me that you will receive this eternal glory. Walk with Me every day and call upon Me at all times to help you to overcome any temptations you may have. I am there to help you if you call Me. I love you all and I bless you.”

The Flesh and the Spirit

The Flesh and the Spirit

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans (8:1-13):

Hence, now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed you from the law of sin and death. For what the law, weakened by the flesh, was powerless to do, this God has done: by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for the sake of sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteous decree of the law might be fulfilled in us, who live not according to the flesh but according to the spirit. For those who live according to the flesh are concerned with the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the spirit with the things of the spirit. The concern of the flesh is death, but the concern of the spirit is life and peace. For the concern of the flesh is hostility toward God; it does not submit to the law of God, nor can it; and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
But you are not in the flesh; on the contrary, you are in the spirit, if only the Spirit of God dwells in you. Whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is alive because of righteousness. If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also, through his Spirit that dwells in you. Consequently, brothers, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

I did a lot of work yesterday. I got my old age pension and I cash the cheque. Then I paid $800 to pay the accountant who did up the papers of Our Lady of PEI Inc. to send to the Government. Then I went to see my doctor and I took my car to the garage to have the oil changed. I also paid my phone bill and my electricity bill and there is almost no more money in my pocket. There are always so many bills to pay.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Live according to the Spirit, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have received baptism and are filled with the Holy Spirit. Our Heavenly Father sent Me into the world clothe with human flesh to condemn sin but not to live according to the flesh, but to live according to the spirit. You, too, are to imitate Me by living according to the spirit. If you life according to the flesh you are doomed to death, but if you live according to the spirit you will have life and peace. In order to belong to Me, your Savior, you need to have the Spirit of God dwelling in you, then you will truly belong to Me. Live every day according to the Spirit, and you will be blessed and you will have life in you. I bless you all.”

Sin and Death

Sin and Death

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans (7:13-25):

Did the good, then, become death for me? Of course not! Sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin, worked death in me through the good, so that sin might become sinful beyond measure through the commandment. We know that the law is spiritual; but I am carnal, sold into slavery to sin. What I do, I do not understand. For I do not do what I want, but I do what I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I concur that the law is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh. The willing is ready at hand, but doing the good is not. For I do not do the good I want, but I do the evil I do not want. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
So, then, I discover the principle that when I want to do right, evil is at hand. For I take delight in the law of God, in my inner self, but I see in my members another principle at war with the law of my mind, taking me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Miserable one that I am! Who will deliver me from this mortal body? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore, I myself, with my mind, serve the law of God but, with my flesh, the law of sin.

The night before last was the warmest so far this year. I suppose we will have thunder very soon. It must be warmer in Prince Edward Island than in Florida. It has never been so warm in June.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“You are all called to do good, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live by the grace I give you every day. How many people are living in the slavery to sin! It is like an addiction. One who is addicted to alcohol or to drugs cannot do without these things. They have such a desire for these things that they would go anywhere to get them when they are out of them. It is the same with sin. If one has a history of a particular sin, that sin will attract him or her until he or she has committed that sin. So no one has the power to conquer sin, but only the person who acts on the grace I gave him or her. With that grace the person can say a complete no and be freed from this slavery.
“This is why I came to earth to help you change your life around by leaving sin behind and following the good way, which I showed you. Saint Paul teaches you how difficult it is to overcome sin, but it is possible with the grace I won for you. First you must believe in Me as your Savior, and then pray with all your heart for the grace to overcome your leaning toward sin, and after some time you will win. All those who remain with Me will grow in holiness every day. I bless you all.”
