Paul’s Love for Israel

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans (9:1-15):

I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie; my conscience joins with the holy Spirit in bearing me witness that I have great sorrow and constant anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed and separated from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kin according to the flesh. They are Israelites; theirs the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises; theirs the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, is the Messiah. God who is over all be blessed forever. Amen.
But it is not that the word of God has failed. For not all who are of Israel are Israel, nor are they all children of Abraham because they are his descendants; but “It is through Isaac that descendants shall bear your name.” This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as descendants. For this is the wording of the promise, “About this time I shall return and Sarah will have a son.” And not only that, but also when Rebecca had conceived children by one husband, our father Isaac – before they had yet been born or had done anything, good or bad, in order that God’s elective plan might continue, not by works but by his call – she was told, “The older shall serve the younger.” As it is written: “I loved Jacob but hated Esau.”
What then are we to say? Is there injustice on the part of God? Of course not! For he says to Moses: “I will show mercy to whom I will, I will take pity on whom I will.”

Today is Canada Day and all Canadians will celebrate today. Let us pray that the people of Canada come to serve Our Lord and Savior and follow Him every day.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I love you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in every part of the world. You know how Our Heavenly Father loved the Jewish people. He selected Abraham, a holy man, to begin this special nation. He sent them many prophets to teach them the truth about God, but many of these prophets were killed by the Jewish people. He sent Moses to lead this nation out of Egypt and bring them back to their own homeland. It is through Moses that they received the Ten Commandments of God. The Jewish Nation was prepared to receive Me, the Messiah, the Savior, but not all the Jews accepted Me. The leaders are the ones who rejected Me and put Me to death, but it was the occasion for Me to offer the sacrifice of My death to atone for all your sins. A good number of the Jews accepted Me, including My parents, the twelve Apostles and many others who followed Me.
“I call you to pray for the Jewish people that they will finally all accept Me as their Savior so they can be saved. I bless you all.”

God’s Love in Christ

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans (8:28-39):

We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined he also called; and those he called he also justified; and those he justified he also glorified.
What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but handed him over for us all, how will he not also give us everything else along with him? Who will bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who acquits us. Who will condemn? It is Christ Jesus who died, rather, was raised, who also is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us. What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword? As it is written: “For your sake we are being slain all the day; we are looked upon as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Yesterday I celebrated Holy Mass for the Feast of the great Apostles and Saints, our dear Saint Peter and Saint Paul. I prayed for all of you who read these messages, that the Lord bless you and give you all the graces and gifts that you need.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I have an everlasting love for you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who acknowledge Me as your Savior and friend. You cannot understand how awesome My love is for each one of you. I have chosen you and called you to work together with Me. If you have answered in the affirmative, then I live in your heart and I give you the graces and the strength you need to live in the world and to avoid sin. I also give you great peace that can only come from Me. I have justified you and one day you will be glorified in heaven. I was able to do that for you because I took upon Myself all your sins and I offered Myself in sacrifice to My Father to atone for all your sins. So if your sins are forgiven, then you live in grace and you are My beloved.
“You might be rejected by the people with whom you live and work. Do not worry about that, but pray for them. What is important is that you are My friend and that we walk together every day. I want unity between you and I. Then all I have suffered for you will not be in vain, but it will work for your salvation. I love you all.”

The War in Heaven

The War in Heaven

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Book of Revelation (12:7-18):

Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back, but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have salvation and power come, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Anointed. For the accuser of our brothers is cast out, who accuses them before our God day and night. They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; love for life did not deter them from death. Therefore, rejoice, you heavens, and you who dwell in them. But woe to you, earth and sea, for the Devil has come down to you in great fury, for he knows he has but a short time.”
When the dragon saw that it had been thrown down to the earth, it pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle, so that she could fly to her place in the desert, where, far from the serpent, she was taken care of for a year, two years, and a half-year. The serpent, however, spewed a torrent of water out of his mouth after the woman to sweep her away with the current. But the earth helped the woman and opened its mouth and swallowed the flood that the dragon spewed out of its mouth. Then the dragon became angry with the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring, those who keep God’s commandments and bear witness to Jesus. It took its position on the sand of the sea.

Today is the great Feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul, the martyrs of Rome. Let us pray for our Pope on this great day, as he is the successor of Saint Peter.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I pray every day for you, My son Melvin and for all My sons and daughters living on the face of the earth. The evil one caused Me much suffering when I was on earth, but God the Father was always there to help Me. The devil would have loved to kill Me but he never succeeded because of God’s help. He would have loved to kill My Son Jesus and you know that King Herod tried to have Him killed, but he never succeeded as the Father sent a message to My husband Joseph that he had to take us to Egypt. We left that very night.
“Remember My sons and daughters that the devil is on earth and he will try all kinds of tricks to win you over. Do not give in to that evil one. If you remain close to My Son Jesus, he will protect you and you will follow Him every day. I am there praying for you every day that you never give in to the evil one but follow the way of Jesus, Your Savior and My Son. I love you all and I call you all to pray every day.”
