The Role of God’s Ministers

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor3:10-23):

According to the grace of God given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building upon it. But each one must be careful how he builds upon it, for no one can lay a foundation other than the one that is there, namely, Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, the work of each will come to light, for the Day will disclose it. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each one’s work. If the work stands that someone built upon the foundation, that person will receive a wage. But if someone’s work is burned up, that one will suffer loss; the person will be saved, but only as through fire.
Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God, which you are, is holy. Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you considers himself wise in this age, let him become a fool so as to become wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the eyes of God, for it is written: “He catches the wise in their own ruses,” and again: “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.” So let no one boast about human beings, for everything belongs to you, Paul or Apollos or Kephas, or the world or life or death, or the present or the future: all belong to you, and you to Christ, and Christ to God.

We had a beautiful sunny afternoon yesterday and there was a little wind so it was not too hot.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and God given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Remember I am your foundation, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, for your life on earth. Never choose another foundation but Me because if you do, you will never be saved. Each person who believes in Me is My temple and the Spirit of God dwells in you. Once the foundation has been laid, you are to work together with Me to build on it.
“Some build with gold, which means that you offered your life completely to Me and you are praying and receiving Me in Holy Communion every day and you are climbing the mountain. If you build with silver, this means you pray and go to church and try to follow the commandments of God every day. If you build with precious stones, you choose to pray and go to church, but especially you love to go on pilgrimages and to say novenas. If you build on wood, you love Me but you are involved in the world and money. If you build on hay, your faith is weak and you do not practice your faith regularly. If you build on straw, your faith is very weak and you hardly pray or go to church. You are truly in a dangerous situation. Your building should be built solidly on strong foundation and you will succeed and one day you will be in heaven. Come and follow Me every day. I bless you all.”

The True Wisdom

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 2:1-10):

When I came to you, brothers, proclaiming the mystery of God, I did not come with sublimity of words or of wisdom. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear and much trembling, and my message and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of spirit and power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God.
Yet we do speak a wisdom to those who are mature, but not a wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age who are passing away. Rather, we speak God’s wisdom, mysterious, hidden, which God predetermined before the ages for our glory, and which none of the rulers of this age knew; for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is written: “What eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and what has not entered the human heart, what God has prepared for those who love him,” this God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit scrutinizes everything, even the depths of God.

Please continue to pray for the intentions of Our Blessed Mother that all will come to pass. I pray for all of you and I ask Jesus, Our Savior, to fill you with all you need.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I want you all to have the wisdom of God, especially you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who contemplate Me and listen to Me. Our Heavenly Father has all wisdom and He knows everything. His judgments are always true because He knows everything. If you read My words and read the words of the great saints, you will be able to acquire My wisdom. You also receive wisdom by meditation and especially by contemplation. The object of contemplation is no other but Me, Your Savior. Spend time every day with Me and you will be filled with the truth and you will have the wisdom that does not come from this world but comes from the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. If you have this wisdom of God, then you will follow the right path I showed you and you will not falter or be led astray by the evil one. Come and learn this wonderful wisdom through contemplation. I will give you all the wonderful gifts that you need. I love you all.”

The Corinthians and Paul

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 1:26-31):

Consider your own calling, brothers. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong, and God chose the lowly and despised of the world, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who are something, so that no human being might boast before God. It is due to him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord.”

————————————————-

My friends from Quebec left yesterday morning to go home. I bless them and asked Jesus to protect them on the way. They had a beautiful day to travel although it was cool in the morning. I enjoyed their stay here with me and I hope they enjoyed it too.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Most of you are the unimportant people of the world, but I have chosen you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live your lives in union with Me. I love humble people who are not looking for fame and plenty of money, but who live with what they have and do not worry. It is the humble people of the earth that believe in Me and follow Me. The proud people do not want to come to Me and follow Me because they do not want to listen to another one. They only follow what they think best, which is often the worst for them.
“My dear brothers and sisters, walk with Me and open your heart completely to Me so I can give you the graces you need and the strength to follow My way. Do not envy those who have plenty of money or live in big houses. You will be filled with great joy and have all you need when you reach heaven, the home I am preparing for each one of you. I bless you all.”
