Warning against Idolatry

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 10:14-22):

Therefore, my beloved, avoid idolatry. I am speaking as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I am saying. The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because the loaf of bread is one, we, though many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.
Look at Israel according to the flesh; are not those who eat the sacrifices participants in the altar? So what am I saying? That meat sacrificed to idols is anything? Or that an idol is anything? No, I mean that what they sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to become participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and also the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons. Or are we provoking the Lord to jealous anger? Are we stronger than he?

We had a nice day yesterday with sunshine in the morning. It became cloudy in the afternoon and we had rain in the evening. We will have more rain today too.

Below you will find the message of Our Dear Mother Mary given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I love you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who accept Me as your Mother. You know that I pray for you every day. I call you to stay connected to My Son Jesus and never leave Him behind and start walking with idols. Today there are many kinds of idols the people are following. One of the big idols is money. People would do anything to get money. They will steal, tell lies, and even ask the devil to help them. No Christian should ever do that. Sport has become an idol for many young people. If there is a sport on Sunday at the time of Holy Mass, they will not go to Mass but instead go to the stadium. By doing that they show what is more important for them: Holy Mass or sports. Some people have made drugs and alcohol their idol, and this too is too bad. My Son Jesus who is Your Savior must be first in your life and never let anything else take His place. Otherwise you are committing sin against Him. Be a Christian like Saint Paul, who gave his whole life to serve his Savior. Today he is a great saint in heaven. I bless you all.”

All Things to All

All Things to All

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 9:19-27):
Although I am free in regard to all, I have made myself a slave to all so as to win over as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew to win over Jews; to those under the law I became like one under the law – though I myself am not under the law – to win over those under the law. To those outside the law I became like one outside the law – though I am not outside God’s law but within the law of Christ – to win over those outside the law. To the weak I became weak, to win over the weak. I have become all things to all, to save at least some. All this I do for the sake of the gospel, so that I too may have a share in it.
Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win. Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one. Thus I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight as if I were shadowboxing. No, I drive my body and train it, for fear that, after having preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.

We had another beautiful day yesterday and it was warm in the afternoon. However, it looks as if we will have some rain today.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Forget about yourselves, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters following Me, and you will have all the graces and strength you need to do the work I gave you to do. Saint Paul became all things to all people so that he could save them, at least some of them. You too must not worry about yourself, but be always ready to do all that I ask of you. In working together with Me, you will grow in holiness and you will have all you need. Your life on earth is like a race, and the goal is to reach heaven for which the Father has created you. You must be humble as I was and you must ask Me daily for this humility. Pride will not bring you anywhere and it will cause you in live in the dark. Those who are proud think they can do everything themselves and because of their weakness they will never succeed. Be humble as I was and call upon My help, and I promise you that you will succeed. I bless you all.”

Paul did not Use his Rights

Paul did not Use his Rights

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 9:12b-18):

Yet we have not used this right. On the contrary, we endure everything so as not to place an obstacle to the gospel of Christ. Do you not know that those who perform the temple services eat what belongs to the temple, and those who minister at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? In the same way, the Lord ordered that those who preach the gospel should live by the gospel.
I have not used any of these rights, however, nor do I write this that it be done so in my case. I would rather die. Certainly no one is going to nullify my boast. If I preach the gospel, this is no reason for me to boast, for an obligation has been imposed on me, and woe to me if I do not preach it! If I do so willingly, I have a recompense, but if unwillingly, then I have been entrusted with a stewardship. What then is my recompense? That, when I preach, I offer the gospel free of charge so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

What a beautiful sunny day we had yesterday! The sun shone the whole day but in the evening it started to be cloudy. Again I thank those who have sent me a donation. May the Lord bless you. I am always in need these days. I will have a Healing Service on Friday this week and I will start with the rosary at 7:00 p.m. with the service at 7:30 p.m.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“As I blessed Saint Paul for his great work, I bless you too My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who work for Me. Saint Paul preached the Gospel free of charge, but I took care of him so that he had enough to eat and a place to sleep at night. I will bless you all if indeed you teach the people you meet about Me and practice what I have commanded you. I ask you all, My friends, to work for the new evangelization. There are so many people who do not believe today and many others who have left My Church. Do not be afraid to show them that you love Me and that you pray every day and go to Holy Mass every Sunday.
“Support My Church in showing the people that you are against abortion, euthanasia and same-sex marriage. All who walk with Me must work to preserve the life of all children from the moment of conception and you have to respect life until natural death. In this way you will follow Me in a perfect way. You will be blessed and you will receive many gifts and graces from Me. I love you all.”
