Thanksgiving

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians (2 Cor 1:3-11):

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and God of all encouragement, who encourages us in our every affliction, so that we may be able to encourage those who are in any affliction with the encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged by God. For as Christ’s sufferings overflow to us, so through Christ does our encouragement also overflow. If we are afflicted, it is for your encouragement and salvation; if we are encouraged, it is for your encouragement, which enables you to endure the same sufferings that we suffer. Our hope for you is firm, for we know that as you share in the sufferings, you also share in the encouragement.
We do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction that came to us in the province of Asia; we were utterly weighed down beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life. Indeed, we had accepted within ourselves the sentence of death, that we might trust not in ourselves but in God who raises the dead. He rescued us from such great danger of death, and he will continue to rescue us; in him we have put our hope that he will also rescue us again, as you help us with prayer, so that thanks may be given by many on our behalf for the gift granted us through the prayers of many.

I thank the Lord again for the beautiful day he gave us yesterday. What a beautiful afternoon we had. May the Lord be blessed.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“You have to thank the Father every day, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, for all the strength that He gives you. On your own it is often impossible to come out of the pit in which you have fallen. However, with the strength of God you can come out of the dump and live in the light once more. It is so important, My brothers and sisters, that you be united to Me so that you will receive the graces and encouragement that you need every day.
“I call on you to pray for all those who are suffering, especially members of your family and your friends. Prayer is of great help for these that they be encouraged and have the strength to come out of their problem. I suffered very much when I was on earth, but My Heavenly Father was always there to give Me the help I needed. The Father loves you all and He is ready to help you if you ask Him. I bless you all.”

Exhortation and Greetings

Exhortation and Greetings

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 16:13-24):

Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong. Your every act should be done with love. I urge you, brothers – you know that the household of Stephanas is the firstfruits of Achaia and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the holy ones – be subordinate to such people and to everyone who works and toils with them.
I rejoice in the arrival of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because they made up for your absence, for they refreshed my spirit as well as yours. So give recognition to such people.
The churches of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Prisca together with the church at their house send you many greetings in the Lord. All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
I, Paul, write you this greeting in my own hand. If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Marana tha.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. My love to all of you in Christ Jesus.

We are having beautiful days and these sunny days will last all next week. I thank the Lord every day for the great weather and I pray that all of you are experiencing fine weather.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be men and women of strong faith, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have offered your whole life to Me to walk with Me every day. You all have to be courageous in the faith. Do not be afraid to tell those you meet that you are a Christian and that you believe in Me your Savior and that you love Me. Be strong to defend your faith when someone makes fun of those who believe. Tell them that I have come on earth to save them all and that I love them.
“If someone does not teach the truth, please tell him or her that they are teaching falsehood and teach him or her the truth. Some today do not believe that I am present in the Holy Eucharist. Tell them that you believe with all your heart that I am truly present in the Eucharist. Tell them to read from Saint John’s Gospel, chapter 6, starting at verse 22. There you will find the truth about the Holy Eucharist. Do not let anyone get away with falsehood. You have to teach them the truth. I bless you all and I love you all.”

The Resurrection Event

The Resurrection Event

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 15:50-58):

This I declare, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed, in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For that which is corruptible must clothe itself with incorruptibility, and that which is mortal must clothe itself with immortality. And when this which is corruptible clothes itself with incorruptibility and this which is mortal clothes itself with immortality, then the word that is written shall come about:
“Death is swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be firm, steadfast, always fully devoted to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

I am working now to prepare Heaven’s Voice, the newsletter of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island. Those who wish to receive it, if you have not yet paid, must pay $12.00 for Canada and $15.00 for the USA for a year’s subscription.

Below you will find the message of Our Dear Mother Mary given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I love you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who have a great devotion to Me, your Mother. On August 15th, you celebrated My Assumption into heaven. This tells you that I am in heaven with My glorified body just like My Son Jesus.
“As a human being, I lived on earth with a corruptible body, which means that I would die one day just like all of you. It was at My death that I put on an incorruptible body and was taken to heaven by the angels. As you know all mortal bodies must die one day, but God will give you an immortal body so you will be able to live in heaven forever. I call you all to live in union with My Son Jesus, so that when you die you will go to heaven. Those who do not live in union with My Son cannot be saved and so they go to hell. There is only one Savior, so remain with Him every day. I am interceding for you that you may receive all the graces you need to follow My Son Jesus. I bless you all.”
