The Ministry of Reconciliation

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians (2 Cor 5:11-21):

Therefore, since we know the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade others; but we are clearly apparent to God, and I hope we are also apparent to your consciousness. We are not commending ourselves to you again but giving you an opportunity to boast of us, so that you may have something to say to those who boast of external appearance rather than of the heart. For if we are out of our minds, it is for God; if we are rational, it is for you. For the love of Christ impels us, once we have come to the conviction that one died for all; therefore, all have died. He indeed died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
Consequently, from now on we regard no one according to the flesh; even if we once knew Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him so no longer. So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come. And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and given us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting their trespasses against them and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. So we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who did not know sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

We had a very beautiful sunny day yesterday and I thank the Lord for this great day of summer. He gave us many beautiful days this month.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be reconciled to God, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe that I died for all of you to atone for all your sins. All priests have been given to ministry of reconciliation to bring sinners back to God. I gave My Church the Sacrament of Reconciliation by which every priest can absolve the sins of My followers if they repent of their sins. This sacrament is a wonderful gift I gave My Church in order to apply to all Christians who repent what I won for them by My suffering and death on the cross. You are the ones who should have suffered and died because you committed sins. Yet I took your place and paid the price for your sins by My sacrifice on the cross. Go now and repent and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and all your sins will be taken away and I will live in your heart and give you many graces to help you life in union with Me. I bless you and I love you all.”

Our Future Destiny

Our Future Destiny

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians (2 Cor 5:1-10):

For we know that if our earthly dwelling, a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a dwelling not made with hands, eternal in heaven.  For in this tent we groan, longing to be further clothed with our heavenly habitation  if indeed, when we have taken it off, we shall not be found naked.  For while we are in this tent we groan and are weighed down, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a first installment.
So we are always courageous, although we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yet we are courageous, and we would rather leave the body and go home to the Lord. Therefore, we aspire to please him, whether we are at home or away. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive recompense, according to what he did in the body, whether good or evil.

I celebrate Holy Mass every day in the chapel of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island in Palmer Road, PEI. People still send me stipends for Masses and I celebrate all these Masses. It is always a joy for me to offer these Masses for all those who need them. May the Lord and Our Blessed Mother bless you.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I want you all, My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters living in the world, to be filled with hope. Have great hope for the wonderful things that lie in the future. The future I am referring to is heaven, where I went body and soul after My stay on earth was over. I went to join My Son Jesus and of course I am with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. You cannot really have a vision of what heaven looks like. Any idea you may have is absolutely nothing to the wonder of heaven. You are all called to enter this place of glory one day, but you need to follow My Son Jesus who is your only Savior. Follow Him and you will be with us the day you will leave the earth. There are many saints here in heaven, in fact millions of them. Work hard My dear sons and daughters and you too will be saints in this glorious place. Follow the commandments and have a great love for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and love all your neighbors. Forgive all those who have hurt you in any way. Then you will be with Me, your Mother, who loves you.”

The Paradox of the Ministry

The Paradox of the Ministry

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians (2 Cor 4:7-18):

But we hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us. We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body. For we who live are constantly being given up to death for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
So death is at work in us, but life in you. Since, then, we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we too believe and therefore speak, knowing that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and place us with you in his presence. Everything indeed is for you, so that the grace bestowed in abundance on more and more people may cause the thanksgiving to overflow for the glory of God. Therefore, we are not discouraged; rather, although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to what is seen but to what is unseen; for what is seen is transitory, but what is unseen is eternal.

————————————————-

We had a beautiful sunny day for the Feast of the Queenship of Our Blessed Mother. However, today we will have some rain.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“You are weak, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me, but I am strong. You need My strength in order to follow Me. I won for you all the strength you need by My Passion and Death on the cross. My sacrifice won for you many, many graces. Yes, you hold this treasure that comes from Me in earthen vessels, but I am strengthening you every day. It is a fact that all have to suffer at times, but I am there with you so do not despair. I will be there to help you.
“I have called My priests and one of these is Saint Paul and I asked them to live as celibates. In this way they offer themselves totally to Me to do the work I have given them. They have to preserve their celibacy with the graces I give them and in that way they will show their great faith and their love for Me, their Savior. Come, My dear brothers and sisters, and make use of all the graces I give you so that you will walk with Me every day and avoid all evil. I love you and I bless you.”
