Thanksgiving

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Philippians (1:1-11):

Paul and Timothy, slaves of Christ Jesus, to all the holy ones in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the overseers and ministers: grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I give thanks to my God at every remembrance of you, praying always with joy in my every prayer for all of you, because of your partnership for the gospel from the first day until now. I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. It is right that I should think this way about all of you, because I hold you in my heart, you who are all partners with me in grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. For God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.
And this is my prayer: that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value, so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.

Yesterday was the Feast of the Guardian Angels. I prayed to my Guardian angel, Felix, for his help every day and I thank him for all he has done for me. Yesterday I was driving on the road at about 100 km/hr and all of a sudden a car comes out from the left just in front of me. I had to jam the brakes and I just missed the car by a few inches. I know my Guardian angel was there to help me. I thank him with all my heart.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Thank your heavenly Father every day My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have great love for Him. Yes, He gave you a Guardian Angel and his job is to protect you. Do not forget to thank him every day.
“My great friend, Saint Paul, was very good in thanking the people and praying for them. He saw all the good things that the Christians did and how they increase in faith and love all the time. You should always be ready to thank your friends and neighbors who are kind to you and greet you every day. Pray for them that their faith too may increase. You know that I call all the people those you know and those who do not know to come and follow Me. This is the only way that they can grow in holiness and one day to be with Me in paradise. I bless you all.”

Battle against Evil

Battle against Evil

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians (6:10-20):

Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.
Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground. So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit. To that end, be watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones and also for me, that speech may be given me to open my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel for which I am an ambassador in chains, so that I may have the courage to speak as I must.

Yesterday was the Feast day of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus. I have a great devotion to this wonderful saint and I ask for her prayers every day. May she pray for all of you.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Put on the armor of God, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, so that you can fight the attacks of the evil one. Without My help you will not succeed to fight him. I have all the power and strength to conquer him and to deliver you from his grip. So pray to me asking for this power to come upon you so you may be freed from the evil one. Satan is very strong in the world these days and many have fallen under his power because they have abandoned Me. If they had remained in union with Me, they would not be in the mess they are in today. So many are involved in the occult and how many are on drugs and others are alcoholics. You hear these days people invading houses, killing people, stealing money and blowing up churches and holy places. When you are taken by the evil one, this is what happens. I want you all to live in peace and to love one another, but Satan wants just the opposite. Pray then every day and I will live with you and protect you. I love you all.”

Children and Parents

Children and Parents

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians (6:1-9):

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment with a promise, “that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life on earth.” Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up with the training and instruction of the Lord.
[Slaves and Masters] Slaves, be obedient to your human masters with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ, not only when being watched, as currying favor, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, willingly serving the Lord and not human beings, knowing that each will be requited from the Lord for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free. Masters, act in the same way toward them, and stop bullying, knowing that both they and you have a Master in heaven and that with him there is no partiality.

Some of my friends are leaving to go back home today. They have lived near me for nearly two years. They are very nice people and I love them. They were renting a house, but the house has been sold.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Love all your brothers and sisters My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in every part of the world. Our heavenly Father gave the Ten Commandments to Moses and one of these commandments says, ‘Honor your father and mother that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life on earth.’ This commandment is very important for children. They are to love their parents and to obey them not only when they are young, but also when they are adults. Sons and daughters who do not respect their parents will not live long on earth. It happens too much these days that sons or daughters leave home and do not want to have any relationship with their parents. Some are gone for years and do not even phone their parents at times. This is a completely wrong way to act. You are to love your parents as you love Me.
“The parents are to love their children and take good care of them. They should be well fed and dressed. Parents should not beat their children and should not do anything evil towards them. Yes, parents can demand obedience from their children, but they should not insult them. Do not get angry at them, but forgive them for anything wrong they have done. What is very important is to have this great love among all the members of the family. I love you all.”
