Prayer and Conduct

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to Timothy (1 Tim 2:1-15):
First of all, then, I ask that supplications, prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings be offered for everyone, for kings and for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and dignity. This is good and pleasing to God our savior, who wills everyone to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God. There is also one mediator between God and the human race, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as ransom for all.
This was the testimony at the proper time. For this I was appointed preacher and apostle (I am speaking the truth, I am not lying), teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
It is my wish, then, that in every place the men should pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or argument. Similarly, too, women should adorn themselves with proper conduct, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hairstyles and gold ornaments, or pearls, or expensive clothes, but rather, as befits women who profess reverence for God, with good deeds. A woman must receive instruction silently and under complete control. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man. She must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. Further, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and transgressed. But she will be saved through motherhood, provided women persevere in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.

We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and it was warm in the afternoon. I thank the Lord for giving us such a great day.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I call you to pray for everyone, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, so that everyone will be saved and enter the Kingdom of God. Remember that I am the only mediator between the Father and the people on earth. I gave Myself as a ransom for all of you. So I ask you all to pray every day to honor your Heavenly Father, especially pray the prayer, the Our Father, often during the day and I want you all to pray your rosary every day.
“I want that our dear sisters be dressed modestly without expensive clothes and they should profess great reverence to the Lord and Creator and to their Savior. The greatest joy of any woman should come from being a mother and taking care of her children. Love every child from the moment of his or her conception. Dear sisters, you will be blessed because of your motherhood and your faith in Me. I love you all and I send you every day all the graces you need.”

Gratitude for God’s Mercy

Gratitude for God’s Mercy

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to Timothy (1 Tim 1:12-20):

I am grateful to him who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he considered me trustworthy in appointing me to the ministry. I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and an arrogant man, but I have been mercifully treated because I acted out of ignorance in my unbelief. Indeed, the grace of our Lord has been abundant, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Of these I am the foremost. But for that reason I was mercifully treated, so that in me, as the foremost, Christ Jesus might display all his patience as an example for those who would come to believe in him for everlasting life. To the king of ages, incorruptible, invisible, the only God, honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
I entrust this charge to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophetic words once spoken about you. Through them may you fight a good fight by having faith and a good conscience. Some, by rejecting conscience, have made a shipwreck of their faith, among them Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan to be taught not to blaspheme.

A great friend of mine had a wonderful spectacle in his church a few weeks ago, but he ran short of money to pay the artists who came to sing and dance. He is short of $5,000. If anyone can help him to pay this money, then please send me what you can and I will give it to him. He will be so happy and he will pray for you for the rest of his life. My address is: Father Melvin Doucette, 1704 Palmer Road, R.R. 2, Tignish, PE C0B2B0, Canada.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I am merciful toward you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are sorry for your sins and you wish to change your life. It is true that you are all sinners, and that is why I came on earth to offer Myself in sacrifice to the Father to atone for all your sins. Believe in Me and repent of your sins and they will all be taken away through the sacrament of reconciliation. You know that Saint Paul was a great sinner before he came to believe in Me. He caused so much trouble to the Christians and he was present at the death of Saint Stephen, the martyr. However, I called him one day and he came to believe in Me. He was baptized and became My great Apostle. He worked very well and taught the truth to every person. He is now with Me in heaven.
“I call you all to believe in Me and in all the truth I taught as it is written in the Bible and taught by My Church built on Saint Peter and his successor the Pope of Rome. Follow My Church and you will be My friend. I love you all.”

Warning against False Doctrines

Warning against False Doctrines

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to Timothy (1:1-11):

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by command of God our savior and of Christ Jesus our hope, to Timothy, my true child in faith: grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
I repeat the request I made of you when I was on my way to Macedonia, that you stay in Ephesus to instruct certain people not to teach false doctrines or to concern themselves with myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the plan of God that is to be received by faith. The aim of this instruction is love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. Some people have deviated from these and turned to meaningless talk, wanting to be teachers of the law, but without understanding either what they are saying or what they assert with such assurance.
We know that the law is good, provided that one uses it as law, with the understanding that law is meant not for a righteous person but for the lawless and unruly, the godless and sinful, the unholy and profane, those who kill their fathers or mothers, murderers, the unchaste, practicing homosexuals, kidnapers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is opposed to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.

————————————————-

A few days ago I was driving my van on the way to Summerside and I was going about 100 km/hr on a nice road, when all of a sudden a car comes out from a side road right in front of me and going quite slow. I jammed the breaks and I stopped just a few inches from hitting the car. I know my Guardian Angel, Felix, helped me to avoid an accident. I thanked him with all my heart.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“May My grace and My peace fill you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me with all your heart. I call you never to listen to false doctrines, and there is a lot of that going on today. Some are saying that the end of the world will come next month or next year on such a date. This is completely false as nobody knows when I will come to judge the living and the dead. Others speak about the‘illumination of conscience’, and this too does not come from Me. Some do not believe that I am truly present in the Holy Eucharist and they teach others about this falsehood. The truth is that I am truly present in the Eucharist and I said these words, and they are written in the Bible:‘Unless you eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.’ Others teach that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. Anyone who practices homosexuality should know that they are committing a mortal sin. I also wish to tell you never to go to séances or to satanic worship for these are grievously sinful. Remain united with Me and you will be saved. I love you all.”
