Address and Greetings

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to Philemon (1:1-25):

Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our beloved and our co-worker, to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church at your house. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I give thanks to my God always, remembering you in my prayers, as I hear of the love and the faith you have in the Lord Jesus and for all the holy ones, so that your partnership in the faith may become effective in recognizing every good there is in us  that leads to Christ. For I have experienced much joy and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the holy ones have been refreshed by you, brother.
Therefore, although I have the full right in Christ to order you to do what is proper, I rather urge you out of love, being as I am, Paul, an old man, and now also a prisoner for Christ Jesus. I urge you on behalf of my child Onesimus, whose father I have become in my imprisonment, who was once useless to you but is now useful to both you and me.
I am sending him, that is, my own heart, back to you. I should have liked to retain him for myself, so that he might serve me on your behalf in my imprisonment for the gospel, but I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that the good you do might not be forced but voluntary.
Perhaps this is why he was away from you for a while, that you might have him back forever, no longer as a slave but more than a slave, a brother, beloved especially to me, but even more so to you, as a man and in the Lord.
So if you regard me as a partner, welcome him as you would me. And if he has done you any injustice or owes you anything, charge it to me. I, Paul, write this in my own hand: I will pay. May I not tell you that you owe me your very self. Yes, brother, may I profit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ.
With trust in your compliance I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say. At the same time prepare a guest room for me, for I hope to be granted to you through your prayers.
Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you, as well as Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my co-workers. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

It was warmer yesterday that the days before but it was cloudy and we had rain in the evening. We should have sunshine today.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I give you grace and peace, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, because of your faith in Me and your love for Me. Continue to love one another as this is the one commandment which I gave you. I told you to love one another as I loved you. I have shown My great love for you by bearing all My suffering, so as you will have a good example of one who wishes to teach you all the truth. I traveled to many parts of the country to heal people, to feed them at times, to drive away the evil spirits and to show them the right way they should follow. At the end I told you to love one another as I have loved you. My last great act was My death on the cross, and I offered my great suffering for your salvation. Come then and follow Me and be men and women of prayer. I love you all.”

Transformation of Life

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to Titus (3:1-11):

Remind them to be under the control of magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be open to every good enterprise. They are to slander no one, to be peaceable, considerate, exercising all graciousness toward everyone. For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deluded, slaves to various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful ourselves and hating one another.
But when the kindness and generous love of God our savior appeared, not because of any righteous deeds we had done but because of his mercy, he saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the holy Spirit, whom he richly poured out on us through Jesus Christ our savior, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life. This saying is trustworthy.
I want you to insist on these points, that those who have believed in God be careful to devote themselves to good works; these are excellent and beneficial to others. Avoid foolish arguments, genealogies, rivalries, and quarrels about the law, for they are useless and futile. After a first and second warning, break off contact with a heretic, realizing that such a person is perverted and sinful and stands self-condemned.

————————————————-

Today we will have a really summer day with plenty of sun and the temperature will be around 15 degrees Celsius. We did not get any snow yet and the people here are happy.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“You are to be obedient to Me, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, and be ready every day to follow the commandments given to the world by the Father. I am the One who came down from heaven where I had lived for eternity. I came down for the only reason that I love you and I knew that none of you could enter heaven unless I was born on earth and showed you the way you should live. While on earth, I offered Myself in oblation to the Father to wash away all your sins. These sins were hindering you from entering heaven. Through My death and resurrection you received many, many graces to help you come to know and to believe in Me, to repent of your sins, and to work generously as a member of My Church. In this way when your time on earth is over, you should come to heaven where I prepared a home for each one of you who followed Me. I call you all to stay with Me during these difficult days, and call on My help every day. I am there to help you. I love you all.”

Christian Behavior

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to Titus (2:1-15):

As for yourself, you must say what is consistent with sound doctrine, namely, that older men should be temperate, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, love, and endurance. Similarly, older women should be reverent in their behavior, not slanderers, not addicted to drink, teaching what is good, so that they may train younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, chaste, good homemakers, under the control of their husbands, so that the word of God may not be discredited.
Urge the younger men, similarly, to control themselves, showing yourself as a model of good deeds in every respect, with integrity in your teaching, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be criticized, so that the opponent will be put to shame without anything bad to say about us.
Slaves are to be under the control of their masters in all respects, giving them satisfaction, not talking back to them or stealing from them, but exhibiting complete good faith, so as to adorn the doctrine of God our savior in every way.
For the grace of God has appeared, saving all and training us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live temperately, justly, and devoutly in this age, as we await the blessed hope, the appearance of the glory of the great God and of our savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to deliver us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people as his own, eager to do what is good.
Say these things. Exhort and correct with all authority. Let no one look down on you.

————————————————-

We had another sunny day yesterday but it was cool enough as the temperature was only 5 degrees Celsius. We should have the same weather today.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be ready to lead the faithful on the right path, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who know the teachings of My Church. If you find a person who hates another, please teach him or her to forgive that person or I will have to leave My home in his or her heart. If you should have this great hatred, then repeat – even if you do not really feel it – that you forgive this person with all your heart. This is an act of the will and after two weeks or more, all this hatred will be gone. You will then love this person. Some hate with such intensity that they cannot pray anymore and they cannot go to Mass or to receive the Holy Eucharist. Do as I tell you and your love for Me will return. Remember that I love you and I want to live in your heart. Repent and I will come to live in you. I bless you all.”
