God’s House and People

A reading from the First Letter of Saint Peter 2, 1 – 10:

Rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, insincerity, envy, and all slander, like newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk so that through it you may grow into salvation, for you have tasted that the Lord is good. Come to him, a living stone, rejected by human beings but chosen and precious in the sight of God, and, like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For it says in scripture:
“Behold, I am laying a stone in Zion, a cornerstone, chosen and precious, and whoever, believes in it shall not be put to shame.”
Therefore, its value is for you who have faith, but for those without faith: “The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” and “A stone that will make people stumble, and a rock that will make them fall.”
They stumble by disobeying the word, as is their destiny.
But you are a “chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own; so that you may announce the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were ‘no people” but now you are God’s people; you had not received mercy but now you have received mercy.

Yesterday the Church here celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Our Blessed Mother. It was a great joy for me that She came to visit me on Her Feastday. Her message to me will be in the next newsletter.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Accept Me as your Savior My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have been baptized. You now belong to Me. I am the One who has chosen you to be part of My Church. Pray that you may have strong faith and repent of all your sins. If you have faith and your repent then all your sins will be forgiven and you will receive all the gifts and graces that I have for you. All My believers are a chosen race, a royal priesthood and a holy nation. You are My people so you are to work according to these special gifts you were given. You must offer spiritual sacrifices daily to the Father and He will show you mercy. Never forget that He is your Father who loves you and cares for you. Ask Him daily for the strength to avoid sin and to do only what is good. He will fill you with His peace. I bless you all.”

Announcement of the Birth of Jesus

A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel 1, 26 – 38:

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. And coming to her, the angel said, “Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with you.” But she was greatly troubled at what was said and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” But Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I have no relations with a man?” And the angel said to her in reply, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, Elizabeth, your relative, has also conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren; for northing will be impossible for God.” Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” Then the angel departed from her.

The Church here in Canada celebrates the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary on December 9th this year because the 8th is on Sunday, the Second Sunday of Advent. Therefore, for us the Feast is today.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“Rejoice with Me My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who have accepted Me as your Mother. When the Angel Gabriel came to visit Me, his first words were, “Hail Mary, full of grace.” Some Bibles have changed this but the truth is what is written above. Yes, I am full of grace from the moment of My conception. I was not born with original sin as all the descendants of Adam and Eve are. Because I had been chosen to be the Mother of Jesus, the Son of God, before I was born so God the Father prepared Me to be His Mother from the moment of My conception. I could not be stained by sin as I was to be the Mother of God, so I was Immaculate from the moment of My conception. So this is why My Church, of which I am the Mother, established this great feast of Mine.
I call you all My children to follow Me every day by not committing sin. You know that I never committed even a venial sin during My whole life long. Come now My loved ones and offer yourselves completely to Jesus and to Me and we will help you to avoid sin in the future. You need to offer yourselves everyday and ask for the graces you need every day. I await your offering today. I love you all.”

Dear Friends,

Call to Obedience, Reverence and Mutual Love

Gird up the loins of your mind, live soberly, and set your hopes completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct, for it is written, “Be holy because I am holy.”
Now if you invoke as Father him who judges impartially according to each one’s works, conduct yourselves with reverence during the time of your sojourning, realizing that you were ransomed from your futile conduct, handed on by your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold but with the precious blood of Christ as of a spotless unblemished lamb. He was known before the foundation of the world but revealed in the final time for you, who through him believe in God who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
Since you have purified yourselves by obedience to the truth for sincere mutual love, love one another intensely from a pure heart. You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and abiding word of God, for:
“All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the field; the grass withers, and the flower wilts; but the word of the Lord remains forever.”
This is the word that has been proclaimed to you.

Our Blessed Mother calls us all to pray for Her intentions. She wants Her shrine built in Prince Edward Island. Please pray that this intention of Hers will be accomplished soon.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you to be obedient to My Word My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe that I am your Savior. Take My words to heart and live according to My teaching. In this way you will become holy for I want a holy family, a holy Church just like I am holy.
Many people bend their heads when they pronounce My name. I love this for it shows reverence to Me for I truly am the Son of God. I also came on earth like a human being to take all your sins upon Myself and to atone for all of them by My suffering and death on the cross. Only the Son of God could bring this about. As God I cannot suffer so I had to be born a human being so I could suffer and die on the cross. I needed to be divine to atone in a complete way for all your sins. This is because your sins have offended Almighty God who is far higher than any human being. So only a divine being could make adequate atonement for the sins of humans that have offended God terribly as He is your Lord and Creator.
I came upon the earth to give you new life by dying for you. You are to live in this new life by loving your Lord and Savior and by loving every human person with all your heart. Come then and follow My Word and you will be saved and live forever with Me in heaven. I love you all.”
