The Healing of a Centurion’s Servant

The Healing of a Centurion’s Servant

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 8, 5 – 13:

When Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion approached him and appealed to him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully.”
Jesus said to him, “I will come and cure him.” The centurion said in reply, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof, only say the word and my servant will be healed. For I too am a person subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘come here,’ and he comes; and to my slave, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith. I say to you, many will come from the east and the west, and will recline with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the banquet in the kingdom of heaven, but the children of the kingdom will be driven out into the outer darkness, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.” And Jesus said to the centurion, “You may go; as you have believed, let it be done for you.” And at that very hour his servant was healed.

Today Thursday I attended the funeral of My Aunt Josephine in our parish church. Many members of her family were present at the Holy Mass and we all prayed for her entry into heaven.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You have read the Bible My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live in every country of the world. You know that I have the power to heal all kinds of sicknesses and when I was on earth I healed many people. I was really struck when the centurion came to Me to ask for the healing of his servant who was suffering very much. I was ready to go to his house and heal that person, but the centurion felt he was not worthy that I go to his house for he knew that I was the blessed of God. He simply asked Me to say the word and his servant would be healed. What great faith this man had! What was very strange is that the centurion was not a Jew but a Roman. Wherever I saw such great faith, I could not do anything else but pronounce the word and heal the one who was sick. Indeed the servant was healed instantly.
There are many in the world today who have this gift of healing given to them by Me. Their prayer is very powerful for My power of healing goes through them. They can heal sick people of any sickness including cancer, heart disease, blindness, those that are deaf and those who cannot walk. There is no sickness I cannot heal. I love to show My love to the people especially those who are sick by healing them. I bless you and I love you all.”

P.S. I prayed for my Aunt Josephine today and I thank you for all your prayers for her too. I am sure she is now in heaven

The Cleansing of a Leper

The Cleansing of a Leper

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 8, 1 – 4:

When Jesus came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him. And then a leper approached, did him homage, and said, “Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.” He stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, “I will do it. Be made clean.” His leprosy was cleansed immediately. Then Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them.”

Wednesday was the day of the beginning of Lent. So on Ash Wednesday I received the ashes in order to begin this new season. I will be praying for you all that the Lord gives you special graces and gifts as you journey towards the promised land. Today I went to the wake of my Aunt Josephine. She will be buried tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10:30 a.m.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You know My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that leprosy is a horrible disease. It destroys the body especially the face, the arms and hands and the feet, all parts that are easily seen. A person’s face of one who has leprosy looks horrible and one can loose the fingers and part of the hand and also the toes and part of your feet.
Many people came to Me who suffered this sickness and I healed them. After they were healed all the parts of their body was restored.
There is also a spiritual leprosy. It is called mortal sin. Any person who commits a mortal sin by doing horrible things like adultery, killing, over drinking and taking too much drugs and there are still many more ways of committing this sin, with the result that their spiritual self, especially the soul, the intelligence and will begin to die. That person lives in darkness and has no peace, joy or love. That person can be tormented by the devil and he can inhabit your spirit. There is only one person that can heal you and bring you back to sanity. I am that person and I am always ready to do it if the sinner repents of his or her sins. The person must be ready to change his or her life and come back to Me. He or she must stop the horrible things he or she is doing. After repentance, he or she must go to confession and receive absolution from the priest and be completely restored. If you do this then you will be filled with peace and joy. I call you all to hurry up to repent of all your sins and to make amends for what you have done. I bless you all.”

The Two Foundations

The Two Foundations

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 7, 24 – 29:

Jesus said, “Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came and the winds blew and buffered the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock. And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffered the house. And it collapsed and was completely ruined.”
When Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, begins the season of Lent. This is the day that the Church blesses us with ashes to remind us that we are dust and into dust we shall return. We are not going to stay on earth forever but every human being living will die except those who will be alive when Jesus returns at the end of time. So we have to prepare ourselves for our new home in heaven. So let us take this time of Lent to repent of our sins and to return to the practice of our faith and to pray regularly.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to take My words to heart and to follow them. You have seen in times of disaster such as floods, high winds or heavy rain that some houses collapse during these times and others houses remain standing as if nothing had happened. It all depends how the houses were built and if they have a solid foundation.
It is the same with your life. My question is: On what did you build your life, My friends? Did you build it on worldly pleasure: drinking, eating, drugs, worldly music, or following your own unruly desires or lust? If that is how you live your life, then I am sorry to tell you that you are on the way to hell. In the next world you will have a life of terrible suffering and pain.
However, if you life is lived in union with Me. You love to hear My words and to follow them every day. You will spend your life praying, avoiding all sin, going to church regularly, receiving Me in Holy Communion and you will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and you will open your heart completely to Me to receive all the good things I have for you. If you act this way, then one day will be in heaven filled with great joy and happiness. This is what I have prepared for each and every one of you. So come and follow Me and you will be blessed. I love you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. I will pray for you all during the period of Lent that you will come close to Jesus and receive many graces.
