The Healing of a Paralytic

The Healing of a Paralytic

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 9, 1 – 8:

Jesus entered a boat, made the crossing, and came into his own town. And there people brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Courage, child, your sins are forgiven.” At that some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.” Jesus knew what they were thinking, and said, “Why do you harbor evil thoughts? Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”–he then said to the paralytic, “Rise, pick up your stretcher, and go home.” He rose and went home. When the crowds saw this they were struck with awe and glorified God who had given since authority to human beings.

Although I get a little pension, it is not enough to pay for all my needs. I am now at the end of healing oil in my tank and I need more than $500 to fill it. So if anyone can help me out, I would be very happy indeed. I also have to pay the insurance for my van this week and it costs $350 and that is another bill that gives me headache. So if you can help me I surely will thank the Lord for you.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “I call upon you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to believe that I am the Son of God and that I have the power to forgive sins. It was because I had this power that I gave it to the Apostles and all those who are ordained have this power from Me. I showed the Jews that I had this power by telling a paralytic these words, “Courage, child, your sins are forgiven.” Some of the Jews did not believe I had the power to do that. So to show them the power I had, I told them these words, “Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? Then I said to the paralytic these words, ‘Rise, pick up your stretcher, and go home.’ Then the paralytic got up and went home. With this miracle I showed the people that I have the power to forgive sins and many believed it after they saw what I had done. This miracle is also for all those who read the Bible so that they too may come to believe that I am the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, and I have to power to forgive sins.
So My dear friends, never doubt that I have this power and never doubt that all priests have this same power which comes from their ordination by a Bishop. This sacrament of Reconciliation shows My great love for all of you. It shows that I am always ready to forgive you if you repent of your sins. I atoned for all your sins by My Passion and Death on the Cross. So do not be afraid to confess your sins to a priest and to accept his absolution from your sins. I love you all.”

The Calming of the Storm at Sea

The Calming of the Storm at Sea

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 8, 21 – 34:

Jesus got into a boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by waves, but he was asleep. They came and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” He said to them, “Why are you terrified. O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm. The men were amazed and said, “What sort of man is this, whom even the winds and the sea obey?”
When he came to the other side, to the territory of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs who were coming from the tombs met him. They were so savage that no one could travel by the road. They cried out, “What have you to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the appointed time?” Some distance away a herd of many swine was feeding. The demons pleaded with him, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of swine.” And he said to them, “Go then!” They came out and entered the swine, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea where they drowned. The swineherds ran away, and when they came to the town they reported everything, including what had happened to the demoniacs. Thereupon the whole town came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him they begged him to leave their district.

On Saturday morning we had sunshine but a few hours later the clouds rolled in and the sky was covered until evening although we hardly had any snow. In fact the temperature during the afternoon went up to 3 degrees Celsius.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who read My messages. You know that as the Son of God I have all power to heal, to chase evil spirits and to calm the storms on the sea. One day as My Apostles and I were crossing the sea, a storm came up and the Apostles were terrified as they thought they would all drown. I was asleep in the boat. They woke Me up telling Me that they were going to drown. Imagine being in the boat with the Son of God and thinking they would drown. It shows that they had very little faith indeed. This was at the beginning of My public life and the Apostles did not have much faith yet in Me. Anyway I got up and put out My hand and rebuked the wind and the wind stopped and there were no more waves on the sea. This miracle made the Apostles think and ask themselves this question: ‘What sort of man is this?’ They thought that I was just a man like them. They did not know that I had two natures, one divine and one human.
That same day I met two men who were possessed and everyone was afraid of them. They were savages. The evil spirits recognized Me and they knew that I was the Son of God. They knew that I would chase them away from these men so they asked to be sent them into the pigs that were nearby. I did just what they asked and the huge number of evil spirits entered the herd of pigs and they ran down to the sea and drowned. Again the Apostles saw this and they were amazed. They had never seen anything like this in the past. So as the Savior I came into the world to bring the people out of darkness into the light, to suffer terribly for the atonement of all their sins, to heal the sick and to chase away the evil spirits who inhabited many people. So I wanted all of the people to be free from this slavery and to come and follow Me.
My dear friends, it is now the time of Lent so I ask you all to come into the light, to repent of your sins and to follow Me. You have these forty days to change your life and to climb the mountain of holiness. All of you are to strive for holiness by doing good, praying every day and going to church as often as you can and to go to confession and to receive Me in Holy Communion. Be My friends and you will be blessed. I love you all.”

The Cure of Peter’s Mother-in-law

The Cure of Peter’s Mother-in-law

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 8, 14 – 22:

Jesus entered the house of Peter and saw his mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand, the fever left her, and she rose and waited on him.
When it was evening, they brought him many who were possessed by demons, and he drove out the spirits by a word and cured all the sick, to fulfill what had been said by Isaiah the prophet:
“He took away our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”
When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side. A scribe approached and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.” Jesus answered him, “Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of God has nowhere to rest his head.” Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, let me go first and bury my father.” But Jesus answered him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead.”

I wish to thank all those who prayed for my Aunt Josephine and those who are still praying for my brother-in-law Leo. He has been having treatment for his ulcer in his back and he said yesterday that it was less painful. Please continue to pray for him.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I love you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who believe in My Son Jesus and follow Him. When He was on earth He healed many sick people. In fact, He healed all those who were brought to Him. He also healed St. Peter’s mother-in-law who was suffering from a fever. After she was healed she waited on My Son and His Apostles.
Many evenings people would gather around the house where He was and He would go out and pray with all the sick and He would chase away the evil spirits who possessed many people. What joy filled the hearts of these people to know that they were completely healed or they were liberated from those horrible evil spirits.
Even in your days, Jesus continues to heal the sick. He has given you, My son Melvin, the gift of healing and there are many in every country of the world who have this gift. Jesus is the one healing but His power goes through the one who has the gift. All those who believe in My Son, especially those who are sick, should go to those who have been given this gift that they pray over the sick and you will see they will be healed. However, what is necessary is that all the sick believe in My Son and that He has the power to heal. Come My dear children and follow Him who is your Lord and Savior.
I am praying for you all so that your faith may increase and that you have the strength to avoid evil and do good. I pray that you will be able to say ‘no’ to the evil one and leave him behind. Come and go forward every day on your way to the promised land. I bless you and I want you all with Me in heaven.”
