The Chosen Servant

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 12, 15 – 21:

When Jesus realized this, he withdrew from that place. Many people followed him, and he cured them all, but he warned them not to make him known. This was to fulfill what had been spoken through Isaiah the prophet:
“Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom I delight;
I shall place my spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.
He will not contend or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.
A bruised reed he will not break, a smoldering wick he will not quench,
until he brings justice to victory. And in his name the Gentiles will hope.”

I receive many phone calls every day from all over the world. People phone me from Africa, from Europe, from South America and from North America. Most phone me for prayers. They are sick and they ask for prayers for healing. I pray on every person who asks me to pray for them. A good number of them are healed. The Lord is good and He loves them all.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “You know My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that I love every person. When someone comes to Me to ask for a healing or to chase evil spirits from him or her, I never refuse provided they believe in Me.
Most of My own people, the Jews of Israel, did not believe in Me. They could not accept that I was their Savior announced by the prophets and so they rejected Me as false. Although as you know I am indeed the Savior of the world, the Son of God. With all the miracles I accomplished before so many people, still they would not believe in Me. The Apostles, however, believed in Me and followed Me except of course Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Me.
When I went to Gentile areas, there I was accepted by many people and they would come to ask Me to go to their homes to heal the sick members of their families. I was even asked to bring back to life a young girl who had died. I did go to the house and there I brought back to life the girl who was lying in bed dead.
I was accepted by more and with greater faith about the Gentiles than among the Jews. So that is why the Apostles were sent among the Gentiles to start My Church. They succeeded very well in many places although all of them except Saint John were martyred. The Apostles were the ones who laid the foundation for My Church in many countries and My Church exists in those place even today. I had selected Saint Peter to be the head of My Church and at the end he was the Bishop in charge of My Church in Rome and all his successors have been the Bishop of Rome. Today the Bishop of Rome is Pope Francis selected through the power of the Holy Spirit. Accept him and you will be in agreement with Me. He is your leader and he speaks in My name. I bless you all.”

Picking Grain on the Sabbath

Picking Grain on the Sabbath

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 12, 1 – 8:

At that time Jesus was going through a field of grain on the sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “See, your disciples are doing what is unlawful to do on the sabbath. He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he and his companions were hungry, how he went into the house of God and ate the bread of offering, which neither he nor his companions but only the priests could lawfully eat? Or have you not read in the law that on the sabbath the priests serving in the temple violate the sabbath and are innocent? I say to you, something greater that the temple is here. If you knew what this meant, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned these innocent men. For the Son of Man is Lord of the sabbath.”

On Thursday, March 20, was the first day of Spring. However, it did not look like Spring here. We had snow in the afternoon and it was below the freezing point. There is still plenty of snow but I hope in a few weeks the weather will change and the snow will disappear.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “You know My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters the law of the Sabbath. The Father gave this commandment: ‘Keep Holy the Sabbath Day.’ For the Jews the Sabbath Day was Saturday but for Christians the Sabbath is on Sunday. It was changed because I rose from the dead on Sunday and the Day of My Resurrection became a very important day. From the time of the Apostles, Sunday was kept as the Day of the Lord, where the Christians went to Church and did not work.
However, one Sabbath day I was walking through a grain field with the Apostles and they were hungry so they picked the heads of grain and ate them. For the Pharisees that was sinful because it was unlawful to do that on the Sabbath. I had to teach them that they did not do anything wrong as they were hungry. I also told them that I was the Lord of the Sabbath.
Indeed I want every Catholic to respect Sunday as the Day of the Lord. It is a day to go to Church and attend Holy Mass and if you have repented of your sins to receive Me in Holy Communion. Holy Mass is the greatest prayer that you can take part in. So all are called to church to join the priest in the Eucharistic Celebration. You are to stop doing the usual work you do during the week. If you are a fisherman, then do not fish on Sunday. If you are a farmer, then do you work on your farm on Sunday. If you have a job in whatever company, do not work on Sunday. However, there are certain jobs that people have to work on Sunday. An example of this is a nurse: she has to take care of the patients even on Sunday. There are others who have to work on Sunday because of the nature of their work. However, the majority of Catholics can and should respect the law of God for Sunday. Sunday is a day of prayer, a day to read the Bible, a day to visit the sick and the elderly and the members of your family. I bless you all.”

The Praise of the Father

The Praise of the Father

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 11, 25 – 30:

At that time Jesus said in reply, “I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.
Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

On Wednesday, March 19, was the Solemn Feast of St. Joseph, the husband of Our Blessed Mother. He acted as a father to Jesus, the Son of God, and he taught Him many things including carpentry. St. Joseph is also the Patron Saint of Canada.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “You all have great love for Our Heavenly Father especially you My brother Melvin and you My brothers and sisters who believe in Me with all your heart. The Father is the Creator of all that exist in the world and in heaven. Every human being must believe that it was God the Father who created each one of them together with each one’s parents. The soul of each child was created by the Father at the moment of conception and this soul will never die. At death the soul is separated from the body. The body is buried but the soul is judged by God and if the person followed Me their Savior, then that person is saved. If however the person did not follow Me, then that person is condemned to hell. Every person is called to adore God the Father and to follow all that He has commanded. I came into the world to reveal the Father to you. I know Him perfectly because I am His Son and lived with Him for all eternity. He is the One who sent Me to be born on earth, to teach you about the Father and His Commandments and to let you know His mind and at the end to atone for all your sins by My Passion and Death on the Cross. The Father did say a number of times to the people around Me that He loved Me and that all should listen to Me. Yes, I am there to help you. So come to me and I will give you rest. My yoke is easy and come to learn from Me and you will be blessed indeed. I love you all and I want you all with Me.”
