The Healings at Gennesaret

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 14, 34 – 36:

After Jesus and the Apostles made the crossing, they came to land at Gennesaret. When the men of the that place recognized him, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought to him all those who were sick and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak, and as many as touched it were healed.

My whole family is in mourning as my brother-in-law Leo Bernard died today. He passed away at 5:00 a.m. this morning surrounded by his wife, Esther, and all their children. He will be waked on Wednesday and on Thursday afternoon we will have the funeral at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road. He lived just next door to me with my sister Esther. Please pray Jesus takes him to heaven and pray especially for my sister and their children.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who walk with Me every day. After walking on the water the night before, in the morning the Apostles and I disembarked at Gneenesaret. Many people in this place knew Me and they knew that I had cured many people, so they sent word throughout the area that I had arrived and so they should come to meet Me with the sick people. Many people came and many sick people too. They simply asked to touch the tassel of my cloak and they were all healed. One thing I noticed about these people is that they had faith in Me and that is why they were all healed.
I call you all My friends to be like these people. Believe in Me with all your heart and know that I can do anything to help you. Come in faith and ask Me for what you want especially if it is a healing and I will help you. I love you and I died for you on the cross so you could be My friends. Let us be friends and meet every day especially through prayer. I bless you all.”

The Walking on the Water

The Walking on the Water

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 14, 27 – 33:

Then Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and precede him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds. After doing so, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When it was evening he was there alone. Meanwhile the boat, already a few miles offshore, was being tossed about by the waves, for the wind was against it. During the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came toward them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified. It is a ghost, they said, and they cried out of fear. At once Jesus spoke to them, “Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid.” Peter said to him in reply, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” Peter got out of the boat and began to walk on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw how strong the wind was he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” After they got into the boat, the wind died down. Those who were in the boat did him homage, saying, “Truly, you are the Son of God.”

I finished addressing all the letters for the people who paid to have the Newsletter. I will send out the letters of the Newsletter of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island tomorrow. You will receive the newsletter sometime this week.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “I call you all My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live on earth to believe that I am the Son of God. From eternity I lived in heaven with the Father and the Holy Spirit. We are the members of the Blessed Trinity. To teach the Apostles that I am divine, I asked them to get into a boat one day and to cross the lake. In the middle of the night I came towards them walking on the water. They had never seen a person walking on the water and they were afraid thinking they were seeing a ghost. With My divine power, I could walk on the water without any difficulty. When Peter heard that I was Jesus, he asked Me to call him to walk on the water. I did and he did step out of the boat and started walking on the water, but because of the wind, he became afraid and began to sink. I took him by the arm and brought him back to the boat. It was because of his lack of faith that he began to sink. By doing this miracle of walking on the water, the Apostles came to believe that I was indeed the Son of God. All you who believe in Me are to believe that truly I am the Divine Son of God with all power. I came to redeem you and one day to bring you to heaven. Come follow Me, your God, and you will be saved. I bless you all.”

The Feeding of the Five Thousand

April 06, 2014

The Feeding of the Five Thousand

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 14, 13 – 22:

When Jesus heard of it, he withdrew in a boat to a deserted place by himself. The crowds heard of this and followed him on foot from their towns. When he disembarked and saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, and he cured their sick. When it was evening, the disciples approached him and said, “This is a deserted place and it is already late; dismiss the crowds so that they can go to the villages, and buy food for themselves.” Jesus said to them, “There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves.” But they said to him, “Five loaves and two fish are all we have here.” Then he said, “Bring them here to me,” and he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing, broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds. They all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up the fragments left over–twelve wicker baskets full. Those who ate were about five thousand men, not counting women and children.

We have another snow and ice storm today Saturday but I hope it will not last long and I hope we do not lose electricity again. My brother-in-law is going down every day and I ask you all to pray for him every day. I went to see him today.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow Me. One day I went into the desert and a large crowd of people followed Me. I healed the sick and I spoke to the people. It was evening when My Apostles came to Me to ask Me to send the people home so that they can find some food to eat. Instead I told them to feed the people themselves. They had five loaves of bread and two fish. They brought these to Me and I blessed them and divided them for the Apostles to spread the food to the people. All the people ate their full and when the fragments were picked up, they filled twelve baskets. This was another miracle I did which is called the multiplication of the loaves and fish. It reminded the people of what My Heavenly Father had done when the Jews were in the desert for 40 years. He gave them manna to eat. This miracle should be meaningful for all Christians because at the Last Supper I changed the bread and wine into My Body and Blood and gave My Body and Blood to My Apostles to eat and drink. Today at every Holy Mass, you can come forward and receive Me under the species of bread and wine. You can receive Me only under the species of bread for I am alive in the host with My Body and Blood. This is the greatest gift you can receive from Me today. It is My desire to come and live in your heart through the Eucharist. I love you all.”
