Peter’s Denial Foretold

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 26, 31 – 35:

Then Jesus said to the Apostles, “This night all of you will have your faith in me shaken, for it is written:
‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be dispersed:’
but after I have been raised up, I shall go before you to Galilee.” Peter said to him in reply, “Though all may have their faith in you shaken mine will never be.” Jesus said to him, “Amen, I say to you, this very night before the cock crows, you will deny me three times.” Peter said to him, “Even though I should have to die with you, I will not deny you.” And all the disciples spoke likewise.

Today I went to visit a man who lost his wife just a few months ago. She was a woman with great faith who never missed Holy Mass during the week and on Sunday. She was one who prayed her rosary every day and prayed other prayers too. She was always very welcoming and I went to visit them a good number of times. I thank the Lord for Irene and I am praying that she is in heaven with Our Lord and Our Lady.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Remain always close to Me My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have great faith in Me. My Apostles did not have great faith at the beginning. It took time for them to have strong faith. On Holy Saturday I told them that their faith would be shaken. Indeed all the Apostles left Me except for Saint John. I had appointed St. Peter to be the head of My Church but look what he did after I was arrested. He had followed Me to the Chief Priest house but stay outside. A woman saw him and knew that he was from Galilee from his accent. So she told the others that this man was one of those with Me Jesus. Peter denied that he knew Me. He was told this two more times and each time he denied that he knew Me. After that he heard the cock crow and he remembered what I had told him and he began to cry. It was fear that pushed him to deny Me three times. However, he repented of what he did and I forgave him.
I call you all to remain close to Me and never deny Me but proclaim your faith without fear. I am there to help you. I love you all.”

P.S. We had another beautiful sunny day on Tuesday. The temperature came up to 25 degrees Celsius. Again I thank the Lord for these beautiful days. May the Lord bless you all.

The Lord’s Supper

The Lord’s Supper

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 26, 26 – 30:

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, “Take and eat, this is my body.” Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them saying, “Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, from now one I shall not drink this fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father.”
Then after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

I had the visit of a couple today from Maine, USA. He is a Roman Catholic Deacon who works in a parish there. He was already healed from cancer. His wife is a wonderful woman full of faith and loves to pray. I prayed for both of them as he has hip problems and she has a nephew who was gravely wounded from a car accident. I hope and pray that the Lord will heal them and their loved ones.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who love Holy Mass. Melvin, you are a priest of mine and it is your joy to celebrate Holy Mass every day. I celebrated Holy Mass with the Apostles on Holy Thursday. I took bread and gave it to them saying, ‘This is My Body.’ Each Apostle took the host and ate it. Then I took a chalice full of wine and gave it to the Apostles saying, ‘This is My blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.’ In this way I changed the bread and wine into My body and blood. The Apostles then became priests and they could celebrate the Holy Eucharist every day and give the hosts where I live truly to all those who believe in Me and have repented of their sins. By the Holy Eucharist, I live among you although I ascended into heaven. You cannot see Me anymore but you know and believe that I am in your heart through the Eucharist. Come and be united with Me every day and know that I love you and I give you the graces you need.”

P.S. I thank the Lord again for a beautiful day with plenty of sun and the temperature on Monday was 24 degrees Celsius. May the Lord bless you all.

The Betrayer

The Betrayer

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 26, 20 – 25:

When it was evening, Jesus reclined at table with the Twelve. And while they were eating, Jesus said, “Amen, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” Deeply distressed at this, they began to say to him one after another, “Surely it is not I, Lord?” He said in reply, “He who has dipped his hand into the dish with me is the one who will betray me. The Son of Man indeed goes, as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed. It would be better for that man if he had never been born.” Then Judas, his betrayer, said in reply, “Surely it is not I, Rabbi?” He answered, “You have said so.”

I celebrated Holy Mass for the Feast of the Ascension with great joy. The Lord Jesus has accomplished all that He had come to earth to do. He took a body like ours from His Holy Mother Mary. He grew up as a man and when He was 30 years old, He began His public life by choosing twelve Apostles to travel with Him for three years. At the end of the third year, He was arrested, condemned to death and was crucified on the cross and died. He was buried and in three days, He rose again. He stayed forty days on earth with the Apostles and then He ascended into heaven with the eleven Apostles looking on. He is now seated at the Father’s right to rule the whole world.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I want you to remember always My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that Holy Thursday of Holy Week is a very important day. That was the day I celebrated with the Apostles the First Mass and I instituted the Holy Eucharist. However, before the institution of the Holy Eucharist, I told the Apostles that one of them was to betray Me. They could not believe this and they all asked, “Surely it is not I, Lord?” I knew of course who he was who would betray Me and I talked in a strong manner against him. I said that it would be better if that man had never been born. After I spoke these words, Judas asked Me, “Surely it is not I, Rabbi?” I told him that he was the one. After that Judas left to go and betray Me. It was only after Judas left that I instituted the Holy Eucharist. I did not want this sinner to have any part in this Holy Sacrament.
There are some even today that act as Judas did. They commit all kinds of horrible sins against Me. Some say that I am not the Son of God nor the Savior of the world. Others have killed My followers for no reason but only because they believed in Me. So many have broken the ten commandments to offend Me and just to follow the ways of the evil one. I call on all those people to repent of their sins and never sin again. Come My friends and follow Me and you will be blessed. I love you all.”

P.S. We had a beautiful day Sunday and I pray that we will have a nice week. May the Lord bless you all.
