Paul and Barnabas at Lystra

Paul and Barnabas at Lystra

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 14, 8 – 20:

At Lystra there was a crippled man, lame from birth, who had never walked. He listened to Paul speaking, who looked intently at him, saw that he had the faith to be healed, and called out in a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet.” He jumped up an began to walk about. When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they cried out in Lycaonian, “The gods have come down to us in human form.” They called Barnabas “Zeus” and Paul “Hermes,” because he was the chief speaker. And the priest of Zeus, whose temple was at the entrance to the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, for he together with the people intended to offer sacrifices.
The Apostles Barnabas and Paul tore their garments when they heard this and rushed out in the crowd, shouting, “Men, why are you doing this? We are of the same nature as you, human beings. We proclaim to you good news that you should turn from these idols to the living God, ‘who made heaven and earth and sea and all that is in them.’ In past generations he allowed all Gentiles to go their own ways; yet, in bestowing his goodness, he did not leave himself without witness, for he gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons; and filled you with nourishment and gladness for your hearts.” Even with these words, they scarcely restrained the crowds from offering sacrifice to them.

A man from the Province of Quebec came to see me in the past because he had sore knees. He had difficulty in walking and he could not sleep much at night because of the pain. He came to the chapel of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island and I prayed with him and he was completely healed. Now he is in good health and he does not have any more pain. Thank you Lord.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to believe that I have the power of healing and I healed many people when I was on earth. I gave this power to many people and through them I heal people all the time. In the reading of today, you see the healing accomplished by Saint Paul. He told a man crippled from birth to get up and walked and immediately he got up and began to walk. The people when they saw this they thought that Saint Paul and Barnabas were gods and they wanted to sacrifice animals to them. Saint Paul told the people that he was human like them but it took time to stop the people to offer sacrifice to them. I am the one who healed this man because he believe what Saint Paul was teaching. In time the people will believe in Me and follow Me.
My brother Melvin, you have seen many miracles happened when you prayed with people. Hundreds and hundreds of people have been healed through your prayers. This shows that we are united together and I work together with you. I bless you all and I want you all to open your hearts to receive all the gifts I have for you.”

P.S. We had a beautiful sunny day although there was a bit of rain in the morning. Thank you Lord for you do for us.

Paul and Barnabas at Iconium

Paul and Barnabas at Iconium

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 14, 1 – 7:

In Iconium they entered the Jewish synagogue together and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks came to believe, although the disbelieving Jews stirred up and poisoned the minds of the Gentiles against the brothers. So they stayed for a considerable period, speaking out boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the word about his grace by granting signs and wonders to occur through their hands. The people of the city were divided: some were with the Jews; others, with the apostles. When there was an attempt by both the Gentiles and the Jews, together with their leaders, to attack and stone them, they realized it and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and to the surrounding countryside, where they continued to proclaim the good news.

I have what is called a book of remembrance, where people can have names written in it and I offer Holy Masses for these people three times a week for a full year. I prayed for a couple from France who were on the verge of divorce and after offering Masses for them, they began to get along better and now they are living without problem. Anyone can write the names of their relative or friends, living or dead, and all they have to do is pay $15.00 for each name. The Lord has touched many of these people written in the book.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Do not be afraid to suffer My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are dedicated to Me. You see how Saint Paul and Barnabas suffered much when they traveled to Antioch and to Iconium. Some people accepted them and their teaching and believed in Me, their Savior. Others, however, refused to accept their teaching and wanted to kill them. In that case they had to flee the town and go somewhere else. It is especially the Jews who refuse to believe what the Apostles taught about Me. They did not want to accept that I am their Messiah and that I came to save them.
Do not worry what people say but come and follow Me. The devil is there and he is working against Me but do not follow him. He is your enemy. I am your great friend and I love you.”

P.S. It is cloudy this afternoon and we might have some rain during the night. The farmers need the rain. May the Lord bless you all.

Address to the Gentiles

Address to the Gentiles

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 13, 44 – 52:

On the following sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and with violent abuse contradicted what Paul said. Both Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first, but since you reject it and condemn yourselves as unworthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. For so the Lord has commanded us, ‘I have made you a light to the Gentiles, that you may be an instrument of salvation to the ends of the earth.'”
The Gentiles were delighted when they heard this and glorified the word of the Lord. All who were destined for eternal life came to believe, and the word of the Lord continued to spread through the whole region. The Jews, however, incited the women of prominence who were worshipers and the leading men of the city, stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their territory, so they shook the dust from their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium. The disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.

Many people have come to see me about New Age. They are part of this satanic group and they do reiki and they ask me what I think of this group. I always tell them that they should leave this group immediately because they will be possessed by the evil one. I had to chase the evil one from many, many people because they were part of New Age. Never join this group.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who pray every day and go to Holy Mass every Sunday. I live in your heart. St. Paul and Barnabas were great friends of mine and they did great work when they were at Antioch. Many Gentiles believed the Good News preached to them by these great preachers. They spoke about Me and what I taught to the Apostles. They called them to follow Me and to believe that I am their Savior and that I want them all in heaven one day. However, Paul and Barnabas were kicked out of Antioch because the Jews were against them and they stirred the leaders of the town to get rid of them. So they removed the dust from their sandals and left for another town. Those who had believed were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit and they could only thank Saint Paul and Barnabas for all their teaching.
Come all My dear friends and follow My Church for she alone can teach you the whole truth. There is no truth in what New Age, the Jehovah Witnesses and the Protestants are teaching. They teach that abortion is alright, that gay marriage is ok and this goes directly against Me, your Lord and Savior. Come follow Me.”

Father Melvin

P.S. We had some rain today Tuesday in the morning but we had a very sunny afternoon. Again I thank the Lord for this fine weather.
