Paul in Thessalonica

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 17, 1 – 9:

When Paul and Silas took the road through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they reached Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. Following his usual custom, Paul joined them, and for three sabbaths he entered into discussions with them from the Scriptures, expounding and demonstrating that the Messiah had to suffer and rise from the dead, and that “This is the Messiah, Jesus, whom I proclaim to you.” Some of them were convinced and joined Paul and Silas; so, too, a great number of Greeks who were worshipers, and not a few of the prominent women. But the Jews became jealous and recruited some worthless men loitering in the public square, formed a mob, and set the city in turmoil. They march on the house of Jason, intending to bring them before the people’s assembly. When they could not find them, they dragged Jason and some of the brothers before the city magistrates shouting, “These people who have been creating a disturbance all over the world have now come here, and Jason has welcomed them. They all act in opposition to the decrees of Caesar and claim instead that there is another king, Jesus.” They stirred up the crowd and the city magistrates who, upon hearing these charges, took a surety payment from Jason and the others before releasing them.

A lady from near Charlottetown, PEI, asked me to come to her house and to celebrate Holy Mass there and hear her confession. She suffered from Ovarian Cancer. I went to her home and gave her the Sacrament of Confession and celebrated Holy Mass and then I prayed with her that the Lord would removed her cancer. One week later she had a Cat scan and the report stated that the tumors had become necrotic which means dying tissue as from a burn. I thank the Lord for healing her.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are opened to listen to Me and to do what I ask of you. See Paul and Silas who were in Thessalonica and the troublemakers came to the house where they were staying to arrest them. However, they did not find them there. Instead they arrested the owner of the house and other brothers. They brought them to the magistrates and made all kinds of statements which were not true. The Jews had selected some worthless men to cause trouble in the city and turn the people against Paul and Silas. During that night the believers told Paul and Silas to leave the city and go somewhere else or they would be arrested. So they left and went to another town.
St. Paul and Silas listened to the believers as they were speaking the truth and they were safe in another town. I am always there to help you so please listen to Me or the one I have sent you to guide you when there is trouble. If you follow My advice you indeed will be protected. I love you all.”

P.S. We had a beautiful day on Wednesday and I thank the Lord.

Deliverance from Prison (2)

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 16, 35 – 40:

When it was day, the magistrates sent the lictors with the order, “Release those men.” The jailer reported these words to Paul, “The magistrates have sent orders that you be releases. Now, then, come out and go in peace.” But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us publicly, even though we are Roman citizens and have not been tried, and have thrown us into prison. And now, are they going to release us secretly? By no means. Let them come themselves and lead us out.” The lictors reported these words to the magistrates, and they became alarmed when they heard that they were Roman citizens. So they came and placated them, and led them out and asked that they leave the city. When they had come out of the prison, they went to Lydia’s house where they saw an encouraged the brothers, and then they left.

A man was in a horrible car accident and badly injured his back and his legs. The doctors told him that he would never walk again. He asked me to pray for him that he will be able to walk. I prayed that the Lord would heal him and that he will be able to walk without trouble. A few days afterwards to the astonishment of the doctors, he left the hospital walking very well. Thank you Lord.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Come and work with Me My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me and know that nothing is impossible to Me. I can heal the sick even if the doctors say that there is no cure. Through your prayers I can bring about a miracle like this man who walked after you prayed for him. Look what happened to Saint Paul and Silas who were in prison. I am the one who brought about an earthquake in that area so that all the doors flue opened and the chains fell off the feet of the prisoners. The Magistrates the next morning told Paul and Silas that they can leave the prison but Paul wanted them to come and get them out. He wanted to tell them that they were Roman citizens and what they had done to them was illegal. The magistrates were afraid once they found out that they were Roman citizens. They had no right to beat them and thrown them into prison without a trial. Yes, it can happen that you too will be thrown into prison one day even though you have not done nothing wrong. Do not be afraid as I will be with you and I will help you. I am your Lord and Savior and I am always ready to help you. I love you all.”

P.S. I was not able for some years to pay the Government taxes for my house and the chapel. Yesterday I received a letter from the Government giving me one month to pay that bill or my house and chapel will be put on auction. I need $8,500 to pay that bill. Please pray that some will help me to pay that. Thank you very much.

Deliverance from Prison

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 16, 25 – 34:

About midnight while Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God as the prisoners listened, there was suddenly such a severe earthquake that the foundations of the jail shook; all the doors flew open, and the chains of all were pulled loose. When the jailer woke up and saw the prison doors wide open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, thinking that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted out in a loud voice, “Do no harm to yourself; we are all here.” He asked for a light and rushed in and, trembling with fear, he fell down before Paul and Silas. Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you and your household will be saved.” So they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to everyone in the house. He took them in at that hour of the night and bathed their wounds, then he and his family were baptized at once. He brought them up into his house and provided a meal and with his household rejoiced at having come to faith in God.

Prayer to Our Lady of Prince Edward Island (continued)

Pray, Heavenly Mother, that your Island
may remain free from the scourge of abortion.
Pray that the world will soon change to respect all life,
especially the life of the unborn.
May your great desire for a shrine dedicated to you,
Our Lady of Prince Edward Island,
become a reality in the near future.

Mother, we have made your desire our own,
and we await with hope your home among us.
Bless us all, your children, and pray to your Son
that our faith may increase,
and that one day we will be united with Jesus,
with you, Our Mother, and with all the angels and saints.
Amen.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I fill you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters with the Holy Spirit. May He come with power to strengthen you and to enlighten you for the work I call you all to do. You all have a mission to accomplish.
It is a fact that Paul and Silas had a mission to accomplish but it would not end in prison in Philippi. The Father by the earthquake changed all that. That earthquake caused all the doors of the prison to fly open and all the chains were loose so that both Paul and Silas were freed but they did not run away. When the guard came and saw that the doors were opened he wanted to kill himself because he was afraid that he would be killed by the magistrates. Paul shouted to him not to do that and he told him that all the prisoners were in the jail. At that very moment the jailer was converted. He came and knelt down before Paul and Silas and asked what he should do to be saved. Paul taught him and his household about Me and that same night Paul baptized him and his whole household. They rejoiced that they were now My followers.
So I give you all a mission: Pray every day for those who do not believe that they may receive the great gift of faith and believe in Me with all their hearts. Do not be afraid to speak to those who do not pray or go to church about Me and how much you love Me. Show them the joy that is in your heart that comes from Me by singing a hymn or praying a prayer and end up with Alleluia. In this way you will help that person to come and believe in Me and to follow Me. I bless you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. It rained here in Prince Edward Island almost the whole day and we expect the same for tomorrow but then it will be sunny for many days.
