The Baptism of Cornelius

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 10, 44 – 49:

While Peter was still speaking these things, the Holy Spirit fell upon
all who were listening to the word. The circumcised believers who had
accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit
should have been poured out on the Gentiles also, for they could hear
them speaking in tongues and glorifying God. Then Peter responded,
“Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people, who have
received the Holy Spirit even as we have? He ordered them to be
baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they invited him to stay
for a few days.

We had a wonderful month of October. We had warm weather and it was
sunny most days. Even though a big storm hit south of us during the
last few days, we had only a little bit of rain just for a day and the
next morning, it was sunny again.
Something terrible happened to me today. I went to a garage to have my
van inspect and they found out that the breaks on the back wheels are
finished and I have to replace them. The worker there told me that it
will cost nearly $600 to replace all that is worn out and to pay the
worker. I have only a few hundred dollars so I ask help from all those
who can help me. I also need money to pay for heating oil for my
house. To fill the oil tank costs $350. I need help within the next
week. Thank you all of you who can help me.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior. Jesus gave me
the message which I wrote below. This is His message:

“I love you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me and love to pray and to go to church on Sunday. I am always there to help
you if you follow Me.
As the scripture passage above shows, Saint Peter was a great follower
of mine. He was called by Cornelius to come to his home and help some
people in need. St. Peter came and when he arrived there were many
people at the  house waiting for him. Peter gave a great talk to them
about Me and also spoke about the Holy Spirit. When he had finished
talking, many of the people who were present began to speak in strange
language as the Holy Spirit directed them. When Saint Peter saw that
they all had received the Holy Spirit, he told them to bring water so
that they could be baptized. So they were all baptized in My Name.
You see in the early church that many people became members of the
church through the power of the Holy Spirit. The church spread quickly
throughout the region and that is what I wanted. I want you all to
accept My Church and to be great followers of Mine. Listen to My
Church and you will be led the right way until you enter heaven. I
bless you all.”
