Philip in Samaria

Philip in Samaria

A reading from the Acts of  the Apostles 8, 4 – 8:

“Now those who had been scattered went about preaching the word. Thus
Philip went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah to
them. With one accord, the crowds paid attention to what was said by
Philip when they heard it and saw the  signs he was doing. For unclean
spirits, crying out in a loud voice, came out of many possessed
people, and many paralyzed and crippled people were cured. There was
great joy in that city.”

We had very beautiful days with plenty of sunshine and it was warm.
However the farmers are not happy because not enough rain fell for the
potato crops.
I had an awful problem with my van last week. I was on my way to
Charlottetown when all of a sudden the engine stop and I had to park
on the side of the  road. I was able to go to a place where they
repair cars and they told me that the strap that makes the various
part of the engine work was not working. So they could not repair the
car that day and today is Monday and it is not repaired yet. They say
it will cost over 1,000 dollars to repair it. I do not have that
money, so if someone could help me, I would be very happy indeed.

Now let me give you the message of Our Lord and Savior that He has
made known to me. He spoke to me these words,

“I bless you My brother
Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have great faith in Me and
pray regularly and go to Holy Mass at least every Sunday. The story of
Philip from the Bible which is written above shows how Philip worked
very well and chased away the evil spirits from many people and he
cured them especially those who were crippled or paralyzed.
I call you all My dear friends, to read the Bible especially the New
Testament and you will find many of My messages I gave the Apostles
when I was on earth and traveled with them to many parts of Israel.
Today many people are rejecting Me and refuse to go to church or to
pray. Please pray for them so that I can give them again the gift of
faith. I love you all and I give you many graces every day.”

Father Melvin
