Trial before the Sanhedrin

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 5, 17 – 26:

Then the high priest rose up and all his companions, that is, the
party of the Sadducees, and, filled with jealousy, laid hands upon the
apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night, the
angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison, led them out, and
said, “Go and take your place in the temple area, and tell the people
everything about this life.” When they heard this, they went into the
temple early in the morning and taught. When the high priest and his
companions arrived, they convened the Sanhedrin, the full senate of
the Israelites, and sent to the jail to have them brought in. But the
court officers who went did not find them in the prison, so they came
back and reported. We found the jail securely locked and the guards
stationed outside the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one
inside.” When they heard this report, the captain of the temple guard
and the chief priests were at a loss about them, as to what this this
would come to. Then someone came in and reported to them, “The men
whom you put in prison are in the temple area and are teaching the

We had a beautiful sunny day today and it was not too cold. The
farmers are hard at work these days and they are planting potatoes.
The fishermen are also hard at work fishing lobster these days.
I am about to receive some money to build a house for the brothers of
Jesus but I need $500 to pay what is still waiting to be paid and then
I will receive the money. Please if you could help me with some money,
I would be very happy indeed and the money would soon be in my
account. Thank you very much.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father
Melvin. Jesus has spoken to him and he will write it down below. Here
is the message,

“I love you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and
sisters who are not afraid to suffer at times for Me. In the story
written above, you see that the Apostles were captured in the temple
and thrown into prison. The court case would be the next day. However,
during the night, I sent angels to go to the prison and open the doors
to let the Apostles out and to go to the temple to teach the people.
Then when the members of the court were present, they sent the guards
to go and bring in the Apostles. They went to the prison and found all
the gates locked but there was no one inside. They did not understand
what had happened. Then an officer came from the temple and told the
members of the court that the Apostles were in the temple teaching. So
they went and brought them to the court. There will be more of this
story tomorrow.”
