The Ascension

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 24, 50 – 53:

Then Jesus led the Disciples out of the city as far as Bethany, raised His hands, and blessed them. As He blessed them He parted from them and was taken up to heaven. The Disciples did Him homage and then returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and they were continually in the temple praising God.

The weather around here for the last few days has been cloudy. We see a little bit of sun but never for very long. It is cold these days and during one night we had some snow. When I got up I found that the ground was completely white but by 10:00 a.m. the snow was all gone.
Again I would like to thank all those who have sent me money. I am still short as I do not have any money to buy food. I would be very happy if some could send me $200. May the Lord bless you all and give you the graces you need to live in union with Him.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to
Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me with all your heart. You know that after My resurrection, I lived forty days with the Apostles to help them to believe in Me after My resurrection and I
also taught them about what I wanted them to do especially to start building My Church among the people. I also told them that they had to wait nine days and the Holy Spirit will come upon them and this feast is called Pentecost. I had to go to heaven so that the Holy Spirit could come upon them and renew them completely. It was at Pentecost that My Church was born as the Apostles baptized many people on that great day.
I call you all My dear friends to be open again to the Holy Spirit that at Pentecost you will receive a great infilling of the Holy Spirit. You cannot be a Christian unless you have the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Blessed Trinity. Although hardly anybody sees Me on earth now, however, I am living with you and I am your Lord and Savior and I am the one who redeemed you by My death on the cross and My resurrection from the dead. Come My brothers and sisters and follow Me every day. I love you all.”
