The Faithful and Unfaithful Servant

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 24, 45 – 51:

Jesus said, “Who, then, is the faithful and prudent servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household to distribute to them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master on his arrival finds doing so. Amen, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property. But if this wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is long delayed,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with drunkards, the servant’s master will come on an unexpected day and on an unknown hour and will punish him severely and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.”

We had a beautiful sunny day today Sunday. There was only a little wind and the temperature was around 26 degrees Celsius. I went for a walk along the Palmer Road as I prayed my rosary. We had rain and thunder last evening but it did not last long. Today I received a phone call from a couple that had come to see me some years ago because they had been married for five years but they did not have any children. I had prayed over them and within a year they had a beautiful little girl. Now they have three children: two girls and one boy.
They are still very happy for the gift that the Lord gave them. May the Lord bless you all.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow My teachings. Above you have the parable of the two servants, the faithful one and the unfaithful one. They both have a master. The Master of the story is God the Father and the servants are the people of the world. The good servant is the one that follows what God the Father has revealed to him through the Bible and the church. The unfaithful servant is the one who refuses to follow what the Father asked of him. The Father will reward the good servant by bringing him to eternal life in heaven. However, the unfaithful one will be sent to hell where he will suffer for eternity. Therefore, I call you all My dear brothers and sisters to follow My commandments and the teachings of My Church and you will be saved. You are here in the world to show the Father that you love Him and that you wish to follow everything He taught you. Ask every day for the graces you need to do all that the Father asks of you. I bless you all.”
