The Unknown Day and Hour

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 24, 36 – 44:

Jesus said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For as it was said in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. In those days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day that Noah entered the ark. They did not know until the flood came and carried them all away. So will it be also at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be out in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one will be left. Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come. Be sure of this: if the master of the house had known the hour of night when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not let his house be broken into. So too, you also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.”

I thank the Lord for the beautiful day we had today. It was sunny all day and it was a bit windy so that there was not too much heat. I had visitors again today who asked to have their children entered into the Book of Remembrance for the Masses. I told them the story of a man from New Brunswick who came to visit me one day and he was crying because his son was a drunkard and a drug addict. He was sleeping outside every night and he would steel money to buy alcohol and drugs. His father entered him in the book and after a few months the father phoned me to tell me what had happened to his son. He and his wife were in church on Sunday and when they looked to their left they saw their son in church too. After Mass they spoke to him and he told them the miracle that had happened. Some time before, the son was sleeping on the side of the street when during the night somebody woke him up. He asked who that person was and he was told these words, “I am Jesus and I come to you to tell you that from today you will never again drink alcohol or take drugs. On Sunday you will be at Holy Mass and you will go and see the priest there who will absolve you of all your sins. Then you will be able to receive Me in Holy Communion.” Since then the son never drank alcohol and never took drugs again. He got a job and he now lives in an apartment. He goes to church every Sunday and receives Jesus in Holy Communion. What a great miracle that was.

Below you will find the message of Our Dear Mother Mary given to Father Melvin. She spoke these words,

“I love you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who have great faith in My Son Jesus and who accept Me as your Mother. You know that Jesus, My Son, will return to earth one day. He will come to judge the living and the dead. He did say this to the Apostles before He died. However, He did not give you the year, the month, the day not the hour He will come. It could be tomorrow or a hundred years from now, nobody knows but Our Heavenly Father. He did not want to tell you because He wants you to be ready for His coming every day. Therefore, you are to prepare for His coming every day and to avoid committing sin. Keep on praying every day and go to Holy Mass at least every Sunday and when He comes you will be well prepared. I am praying for you that when Jesus comes, you will be on His right and He will bring you with Him to heaven. I bless you all.”
