False Prophets

False Prophets

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 7, 15 – 20:

Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will know them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. So by their fruits you will know them.”

We had a beautiful sunny day on Saturday but it was windy and cold. We are supposed to have a little snow tomorrow Sunday. I call you again to write the names of your loved ones in the Book of Remembance. You can also put the names in the book of the members of your family who have died. You know it only costs $15 per person and I will celebrate three Masses a week for them for a whole year. Here is a true story: the relatives have placed the name of a man who is very sick and since I wrote him in the book, he is slowly getting better. You know there is no greater prayer that Holy Mass and the graces from this celebration are infinite. Through this prayer, the Lord can help many people. May the Lord bless you all.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who place Me the first in their lives. I want you to live for Me every day of your life.
You know that there are people whom My Father appoints as prophets. Prophets are those who receive a message from Him and then proclaim it to the people. I can also give a message to a prophet and he will make known that message to many people. Prophets are holy people who pray regularly and love every person. They go to Holy Mass regularly and love to come and receive Me in the Holy Eucharist. However, there are also false prophets. These prophets do the work of the devil. Their messages are not true but just words to scare you. A false prophet could say that it is worthless to go to church on Sunday. They will say that there is nobody there. Some will say that there is nothing wrong with homosexual marriage and you know that this is a false and sinful union. All those who say these things are false prophets and you are not to believe them.
Instead come and believe in the true prophets who speak the truth about Me. Be on guard not to accept the messages of false prophets but be opened to the true ones. I love you all and I bless you.”
