Warning to the Rich

A reading from the Letter of James 5, 1 – 6:

Come now, you rich, weep and wail over your impending miseries. Your wealth has rotten away, your clothes have become moth-eaten, your cold and silver have corroded, and that corrosion will be a testimony against you; it will devour your flesh like a fire. You have stored up treasure for the last days. Behold, the wages you withheld from the workers who harvested your fields are crying aloud, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and pleasure; you have fattened your hearts for the day of slaughter. You have condemned; you have murdered the righteous one; he offers you no resistance.

I thank the Lord for a sunny day today Thursday and it was very beautiful to see the full moon in the evening. However, it was cool in the morning but it was 6 degrees Celsius this afternoon. I still need heating oil as the tank is going empty. If any can help me I would be very pleased indeed. May the Lord bless you all.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“By My true followers, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who know Me and want to follow Me every day. Some follow Me for some days and then they reject Me and do not believe in Me anymore. The problem is that they are attracted by something else that is earthly or they are tempted by the evil one. What do you think of an owner of a farm who hires workers to harvest his crop. They come and work for days but at the end he refuses to pay them. He can sell the produce of his farm and make plenty of money but he refuses to give the just wages to those who worked for him. What he has done is very sinful and this is what many do to get rich. It is terrible to make money in that way. These evil people will never be blessed but those who are poor and short of food will be blessed by Me because they have never sinned but have great faith and love for Me.
I call you all to follow the way I showed you. Be people of truth and love and never commit any fraud against any person. Do not acquire money by stealing but work and accept what is reasonable. Then you will have enough to live for I will bless you. Never have anything to do with those who steal, for you will be punished together with them. Be honest people who have great love for Me and for your neighbor. I love you all.”
