Exhortations to Timothy

A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to Timothy 5, 11 -21:

But you, man of God, avoid all this. Instead, pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience and gentleness. Compete well for the faith. Lay hold of eternal life, to which you were called when you made the noble confession in the presence of many witnesses. I charge you before God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who gave testimony under Pontius Pilate for the noble confession, to keep the commandments without stain or reproach until the appearance of Our Lord Jesus Christ, that the blessed and only ruler will make manifest at the proper time, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, and whom no human being has seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal power. Amen.
Tell the rich in the present age not to be proud and not to rely on so uncertain a thing as wealth but rather on God, who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment. Tell them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, ready to share, thus accumulating as treasure a good foundation for the future, so as to win the life that is true life.
O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid profane babbling and the absurdities of so-called knowledge. By professing it, some people have deviated from the faith.
Grace be with all of you.

It is getting cooler these days but there is no frost yet. We will have a beautiful day tomorrow Sunday. Continue to pray for Our Holy Father the Pope. Today some said that he is getting tired from the burden of these long days.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who love Me with all your heart. If you wish to follow Me then pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience and gentleness. In this way you will develop your faith and grow in holiness. I charge you to keep the commandments every day until My coming down to earth again at the end of the ages.
Tell the rich not to be proud and not to rely on their wealth but on Me, your Savior. I am the one who will provide you with all that you need. You are all called to do good works and to be generous and ready to share what you have. Then you will have treasure in heaven and you will win the life that is true life. I bless you all and may you be filled with My grace. I love you all.”
