False Teaching and True Wealth

A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to Timothy 5, 3 – 10:

Teach and urge these things. Whoever teaches something different and does not agree with the sound words of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the religious teaching is conceited, understanding wrong, and has a morbid disposition for arguments and verbal disputes. From these come envy, rivalry, insults, evil suspicions, and mutual friction among people with corrupted minds, who are deprived of the truth, supposing religion to be a means of gain. Indeed, religion with contentment is a great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, just as we shall not be able to take anything out of it. If we have food and clothing, we shall be content with that. Those who want to be rich are falling into temptation and into a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all evils, and some people in their desire for it have strayed from the faith and have pierced themselves with many pains.

Today it was cooler although it came to 20 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. However, it will go down to lower than 10 degrees during the night. Please pray for Pope Francis who is in the United States and today Friday he gave a great speech at the United Nations in New York. Let us continue to pray for the Pope that his health will remain good and that he will not get too tired with all that he is doing in the US.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who are faithful to My Son Jesus and follow all that He has taught you. All are to teach the truth and never voice any opinion which is in contradiction to what My Son taught. Your private ideas are of no use if they go against the teachings from your Savior. You should be content with the teaching of My Son Jesus for He taught the truth and you will be blessed. If you have what is necessary to live, then you should be happy with that. You do not need all kinds of material things and plenty of money in the bank. Live and give thanks to your Savior that your great needs are fulfilled. Do not spend time to search for extra money because that will bring you away from the path My Son has traced for you. It is true that money is needed for the building of churches, homes for the religious, for the sick and the elderly and for the children that do not have a home. However, all these things are needed to take care of those who suffer and to help those who need to live a life dedicated to My Son Jesus. They just need the necessary things such as a home, food, clothes and something to heat the homes. I bless you all and I am praying for you all.”
