A reading from the Letter of Saint James 3, 13 – 18:
Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show his works by a good life in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. Wisdom of this kind does not come down from above but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every foul practice. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure; then peaceable, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without inconstancy or insincerity. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for those who cultivate ;peace.
It rained for a good part of the day today, Sunday. We will have more rain tomorrow. I will have to go to Charlottetown tomorrow evening to go and get a person who will arrive from France and will stay with me for two weeks. I am very happy to see this person again.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I give you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow Me the gift of wisdom. This is a great gift that can only come from above. It will help you to think properly and to understand well all I have told you and what My Church teaches you. True wisdom is shown by living a good life and by being humble. Humility is very much a part of wisdom. However, there are some who are jealous and are selfish and these things do not come from Me. This does not come from above but is earthly and it is influenced by the devil. Those who live a jealous and selfish life, they will be full of disorder and they will do any kind of foul practice. Do not follow these people but your wisdom must be from above and be pure and may you be full of peace and you will produce good fruit. I love you all.”
