The Destruction of the Temple Foretold
Dear Friends,
While some people were speaking about how the temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, Jesus said, “All that you see here — the days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.” Then they asked him, “Teacher, when will this happen? And what sign will there be when all these things are about to happen?” Jesus answered, “See that you not be deceived, for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and ‘The time has come.’ Do not follow them! When you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified; for such things must happen first, but it will not immediately be the end.” Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues from place to place; and awesome sights and mighty signs will come from the sky. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 21:5-11)
I went to the Manor in Alberton yesterday to celebrate Holy Mass for all the Catholics there. The chapel was full. I also visited in their rooms those who could not come to the chapel. Yesterday was the last Mass in the old Manor. On Thursday this week all will go to the New Manor, which is just behind the old one. I will go for an hour of adoration this evening at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road. There is a full day of adoration at that church every Tuesday.
(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:)
“I love you and I have compassion on you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living all over the world. I am always very close to you to help you every day. Before I died on the cross, I foretold that the Temple in Jerusalem would be destroyed completely. This happened in the year 70 when the Roman Army came to Jerusalem and brought down the Temple. This Temple has never been rebuilt. I also gave the people different signs of the end of the world. There will be wars and you will see nation rise against nation and there will be much destruction. I told them that there will be strong earthquakes and there have been many in the last years. There will also be famines in different parts of the world and there will be plagues in different countries. You will also see signs in the sky when the time is near. When you see all this, you will know that the end of the world has arrived.
What must you do to prepare for the end? You must live in union with Me. I am the only One who can save you. Be people of prayer and obey My Church. I wish to remind you to confess your sins regularly and follow the commandments and you will be saved. Know that the world will come to an end but there is another place, much better than the world, where you are called to enter. This place is heaven and all those who enter in will live in great happiness forever. Follow My teachings and one day I will bring you home.”
